Who other than Butch can come in here and recruit on a high level AND coach on a high level? This is the best option imo.

There is a very good reason UNC got those DTs and not us. ( see bowl ban 2012) You should also be very happy that they got them and not us. Marvin Austin is a clown along with those other guys and his actions are mostly the reason the NCAA came snooping around Unc and why they are on probation. Butch is squeaky clean though.

Butch has no show cause and has been issued a clean bill. Austin got in a little trouble, but a lot less than some of our recent players. Look at it this way...Auburn PAID a player and got caught...The NCaa is worthless and you have to be stupid to get caught..Stupid like Pearl lying for no apparent reason when photographs exist.

Personally, for me, Gruden is my #1 pick, if it is in any way possible.
My #2 is Butch Davis. I believe he would be great at UT.
My #3 is Gary Patterson. We know about his x's and o's, but can he recruit the Jimmy's and Joe's?

After that, I got nothing.

Just do not let all of the other talk about other coaches make you lose your focus. Remember how everyone heard BD's name associated with the Arkansas job? Then the talk ceased overnight. Ever wonder why? Keep your eye on the ball.
