Hard to be effective when the defense knows you're about to run the ball. UT's offense last year was the most predictable offense I've ever seen.
Neal and Lane are good enough as a combo to get the job done. You can't run three run plays out of two formations and expect great success.
Put a freshman back in that starting role and see if that shame factor will make upperclassmen backs motivated. Im normally for red shirting but in this case what's Coach Butch got to lose? Other SEC schools feild freshman backs and if recent memory serves they pay off.Its depressing, thinking of the O line we are going to field this year and knowing we dont have an elite rb to hand the ball off to.
Living in west Tennessee otherwise known as the capitol of east arkansas and north mississippi I seriously have to ask a question to Vol nation. It seems like the Chattanooga news is head and shoulders better than the Knox news when it comes to UT sports. If we can fire coaches then why the f can't the boosters get rid of Adams and gang and get the chattanooga boys up there?
