Butch Jones calls mandatory meeting at 7:30am

I'm done with UT if he's hired. I know I won't be missed, but this is awful. Butch Davis should be hired. He hasn't even gotten a look.

We have an awful administration that can't do what's right for UT. I can't support people who set up young players to fail. I'm flabbergasted.

This is my concern. The guy has followed in the footsteps of a NC coach everywhere he's been. I believe its now obvious Kelly is a pretty darn good coach and has obviously left everywhere he's been in great shape. You want mid-major builders then look at Taggart, Hudspeth. Hudspeth is appealing to me just for the fact he's been a HC so long. Sure the majority was at a DII school, but we've seen the success Tressel and Kelly had when they made the jump, and Hudspeth has had great success at ULL. Just ask UF who gave them a better game this year; ULL on the road or UT at home?

I'm not sure what would be worse... Being told no by BJ, or him accepting. Has to be the latter of the two. FML GBO VFL

I love this team, love the Vols, but life is too short to watch my team get pounded in the ass week after week and know its coming with no future sign of it stopping.

If they hire this guy, I am probably not watching UT football for a few years...just stesses me out too much.

Your right about one thing.

I'll always be a UT fan. If they hire Butch Jones Im going to be really pissed and but next fall I will be cheering for the Vols.

Well I hope to God that this 7:30 meeting means exactly what it did for the previous coach we were after that called one of these. That he's announcing that he is staying and telling his players UT can go F themselves.
At least I'd be happy to hear this Big East coach is staying.

How the hell do you offer this guy with Butch Davis and even Tressel still out there. Hell, at this point I would think people would get off of their high horse and roll with Petrino. Smdh


Do this Hart and you have successfully killed this program.

I won't be donating and buying tickets that's for sure. What's the point when I'll be able to pick them off the street before every ball game

To be fair jones was actually more successful at central michigan than kelly was. At cincinnati kelly was more
successful however.
