His new cliche for 2023; “Pride in Performance, Pride in Preparation”.

He clearly didn’t prepare, given the performance. Hate it for the players who are stuck with him and wasting their season/career.

Bet he gets canned Monday after breaking down on the sideline.

I am in a quandary next weekend. Arkansas State plays Memphis. Butch Jones and Memphis? Hmmm. Have to think about that one for a bit.

He is a reflection of the program. It’s bad enough that he had a poor season last year. Add to it the way he started this season and CRYING on the sideline? They should pass the plate at this point and get him out of town. Whom ever gave him the extension needs to go too.

He sure does love that "getting on one knee and looking serious" thing. Did it at Tennessee a few times, too.

I watched the post game presser. More of him blaming the players for being out of position and missing assignments.

Butch is the coaching version of “looks like Tarzan, plays like Jane.” At first he looks the part, even sounds like a coach. But as time goes on, it becomes clear that he just doesn’t know how to lead a program.

Don’t even care about Butch, where he is or what he’s doing, winning or losing. Not that I wish anything bad on him, I’ve just moved on. We should leave him behind and never bring him up again. Same for Pruitt who, in my opinion, was worse for this program. We’re in a good place now. Let’s just enjoy the fruits of Josh Heupel’s labor and how nice it is to be relevant again.

Butch, bless him, is that guy who WANTS to be something with all of his heart, but he just doesn't have it. He tries. He reads every book. He studies everything by everyone he absolutely can. But he just doesn't have the instinct. It's just not natural to him. It's not there.

When he didn't read something in the manual then he collapses.
