Shocker... You mean CBJ strung them along until right before school started so the others guys couldn't transfer? He has seen these guys for 2 seasons now and he just figured out that Worley would be the starter?

Ummm... Most of us knew Worley would start in the spring...

Peterman would have been a great comeback story. But this isn't exactly unexpected. Worley has the steady hand when it comes to managing the game. With so many youngsters on the team you can't afford for your QB to have a melt down. We are probably in for a lot of dink and dunk in the passing game. Nothing wrong with that, it should be much more effective this year now that Worley has some people to throw to.

Between that, better running game, and Worley having some experience in the system I think the offense will be efficient. It may not be as explosive as we would like but whatever gets it done is fine by me. Besides that style of play will help the o-line if they struggle. And long sustained drives will keep the D off the field and keep them from getting gassed. Relying on the deep ball could be a double edged sword with this team IMO. You go to war with army you have...and all that.

If the OL can protect him he will do just fine. Go, Worley , now is your time to shine, expect big things from you, make us proud !! Go Vols !!

We don't have a stud qb right now. And he isn't the best qb to run our offense. So that tells you where the season's going.

Got news for you... if Worley isn't the right kind of QB then Jones' recruiting is really, really off target. Dormady is VERY similar in many ways to Worley.
