What are expectations at UT right now?
Butch : Says that expectations are always high at Tennessee, a lot of excitement around program not just instate but nationwide. Recruiting has a special energy in the air, but the team is still a work in progress.

How much pressure?
Butch: We put more pressure on ourselves than anyone else ever could. Lay a standard of excellene. Building a perinially national title contender, brick by brick, and we will get there.

How will TN offense look?
Butch: Lost 80% of output and talent, but great opportunity for young guys to step up. Establish identity, identify playmakers key.

Expecation for 2013?
Butch: Lay foundation of what it takes to play winning football is the most important thing. Focus on style of play. 3rd time taking over a program and he knows what to do, if they stick to the plan it they will get there.

Now Rod Gilmore says we won't get an SEC win till mid-to late November if we are lucky.

Said Butch is right guy but fans must be PATIENT!

Our schedule is so brutal again.. It's hilarious how easy of a schedule someone like nd or tosu can have compared to ours.

Haha it's like we work at the same place I spend all day on VolNation an doing work and if they have an announcement during the day no work gets done

Simply take our Sep/Oct schedule and it would be tougher. Phil Steele's preseason top 25 includes #1 Alabama, #3 Oregon, #6 Georgia, #8 Florida, #9 South Carolina.

Not to mention #5 A&M & #12 LSU. That puts 6 SEC teams in his top 12.

He has OU debuting at #14 playing #7 ND, #15 TCU, #18 TX, #22 OK State, & #25 KState. Does this mean he thinks OU (the top ranked Big-12 team) would be a middle of the road kill team in the SEC?

The 2013 schedule is brutal, but by 2014 we'll be BACK!
