With black pants & lose the cheggarboard shoulders.
if it ain't broke don't fix it, CBJ has the number 1 ranked recruiting class right now, with out gaudy uniforms,i wouldn't mind 1 game a year for them to do something different though
Alabama must feel pretty dang good then. And LSU. And Georgia. And Florida.
How's Maryland feel?
here's the deal; remember all those life lessons your dada taught you growing up?
Patience is a virtue,
If something is worth doing, it's worth doing right,
Quality over quantity,
focus on what you are doing...etc, etc, etc...
Well, NONE OF THAT MATTERS. None of it. It only holds you back in today's world. It's all flash and instant gratification now. We live in an artificial world. Everything is done cheap, now , and gone in the next minute. You know why? COMPUTERS. The information age. All this information being thrown at kids 24/7 with no way to filter it. When I went to school there was NO SUCH THING AS A COMPUTER. Your dad didn't envision a world like this. So older folks like me...we don't get it. But it doesn't even matter, because common sense flew out the window around 2000 sometime. I saw it happen.
This is hilarious and exactly how I feel. I'm all for the alternate uniforms and changing it up but those are just awful.[/QUOY
I had supported a mix up myself and have liked most of the options including the ones on EA sports but those checkered shoulders......uh....no.
They would look better if the squares on the checkerboard pattern were bigger. But otherwise awesome unis.
I was thinking some sizzle in the uni's when we play Oregon, UF and Bama. Sometimes a nice change can help elevate team morale, and obviously it helps recruiting. Old timers have had years and years of enjoying their "tradition." It's time to let the younger generation enjoy some change, an not be stuck in 1940.
Exactly. I'm sure it was a big deal when we switched to white and orange from black with orange accents....way, way back in the day.Our "tradition" was their "contemporary".
It's kind of like people that think contemporary worship in churches is evil... Hymns were contemporary worship when they were written. lol
