Should have said only when it sounds forced. I worked fora union for a while and guys would call each other brother. But when they called me brother they would put something extra on it. Maybe in an attempt to sound cool or make me comfortable but I just thought it was funny

I don't, but that may be because when I left the north, I moved to Jacksonville, FL. That place, while being the heart of Gator country, is also the most racist place I've been in my life. Knoxville is actually pretty tame in comparison. I didn't mean to imply that racism doesn't exist up north, it certainly does, but people arent nearly as open or vocal about it.
