Two words for you to think about...Montori and Hughes.
Not highly rated til after signing day, when the recruiting services admitted they whiffed on him.
If this staff likes someone, I doubt they care where they are rated. One thing it does is somewhat force the hand of some of the fence-sitters that think they can string us out til signing day with an offer still in hand. After summer camps, they'll start coming in...I think Stone out of Nashville will be one of them.

I'm not saying that as a bad thing. I'm not too worried about this class' ranking. When you have a class full of linemen, their final ranking doesn't mean much since these guys are so hard to evaluate.

limited numbers will keep UF from being #1, but they will cherry pick the top talent in the nation. Bama will find a way to sign 25 kids, book it.

UF will have ~ 25 to give. More then enough.

I guess it's a sign of long off season when you start celebrating your future nameless committments 9 months in advance.

In Meyer's four full years, UF has had three top 3 classes and a 4th with the highest rating per recruit. This year we're recruiting off an NC year and have a full compliment of scholly's and an awesome team to showcase.

I guess a little chest beating is popular with the home boys and to be expected, but a national top 5 and finishing ahead of UF would be a miracle given the way this recruiting year has started.

Fulmer signed Hughes.

Your arrogance is noted. Florida's recruiting staff doesn't come close to measuring up to the machine that Lane has assembled. Just remember Nu'Keese and Teague and expect many more reminders this year as well. We will get plenty of prospects out of Florida that Urban wants - National Championship be damned.

OK....I'm arrogant and you are.....??

You come out and say UT will have a better recruiting class than UF. I rebut that and I'm arrogant?

I guess we'll see in February. Talk is cheap.

All hail to Sabanacchio, possessor of infinite recruiting wisdom.

What kind of Loser lingers around on the boards of opposing teams? Oh...that would have to be a Gator fan. Got nothing better to do, aye? Take your Mangy-Lizard loving self and find a place where someone cares for your opinion.

In general, I'm here following the threads of players who UF is in the hunt for or that I know something about. It's actually a better board than the free board at UF.

It just so happens that a lot of lot people on this board like to talk smack about UF and I'll feel free to comment on that.

It's a public board. It's not a private club. The content can be viewed by anyone with an internet connection. I think it's kinda of strange that a group of people would expect to be able to talk smack about their rivals in a public forum without expecting a little of their own medicine in return.

Whether we talk smack or not is irrelevant. It takes a low-life to hang out on the boards of opposing teams. So, when you go to a restaurant, you are welcome to sit down at the same table as a family trying to have a quiet dinner?

Your being here is a glaring example of the classless nature of Gator fans. You got nothing to say about Kiffin when you're over here waving your pink Tebow panties around

you need to understand that first and foremost this is a Tennessee board. You being on this board means you accept a certain amount of flack, it is what it is. If you cant be civil go home.

Auburn is going to have something to say about where Bama ends up this year. I know it's gimmick and flash from that camp right now, but it works.

You sound like the fool, actually...we just just leaped ahead of FL for Kiffin's 1st class....what else you got?

I'm talking about this year's class. I don't want to do this to you but I will. UF signed 16 people in last year's class with an average star ranking of 3.94. The best in the entire country. Since they signed so little, they have no chance to be high in the rankings regardless of the quality of guys they picked up. We signed five more than they did meaning that we had five guys more guys adding to our point total than they did. I mean UNC finished ahead of UF but there is no way you could possibly say they have a better quality class.

When UF signs a full class this year, we will have no chance to finish ahead of them.

And Sab, I wasn't implying that you said that. I said "if" you actually think that, then you are a fool. I know that you don't think we will have a better class than UF this year.

I guess we'll see in February.

And there it is. A lot is going to happen until then. I am sure Florida will be in the top 5 or top 10 range no matter what, but I do expect Tennessee to be in that same neighborhood. We'll see how it shakes out. I am not sure it really matters what your exact finish is when you are that far up there anyway, given the subjective nature of recruiting rankings.

off topic, but we all need thicker skin in here, guests and residents included.

Now hold on a second here. I just said a couple of weeks ago about how well Auburn was doing with recruits. I listed Dyer, Lattimore, Seastrunk, and Richardson and then there was a guy named Sabanocchio who started bashing...

And I still maintain that they get none of those guys save maybe Richardson. I don't think any of them end up at Bama either. Auburn is not even in the game yet with their class, but by the end of it, I expect them at least to get enough AL recruits to piss Saban off. That's all I was saying.
