But that’s what they see on TV and in the movies, it’s how the public expects them to actThe thing is if she and the boyfriend were selling drugs on consignment and flushed them, they would be answering to a different "court". If they bought the drugs with the intent of making a profit and had to flush them, that's a hard lesson learned. Sometimes it's just better to play a different game, than try and play hero and look like a fool. Cops have no business playing Rambo.
It's not how I expect them to act. I'm really sick and tired of the police being Billy Bad Asses. You rolled through that right turn that'll be $120. F'em when do they get rolled for money for not stopping at a right hand turn when there is no one for as far as the eye can see? I appreciate what cops do, but I also appreciate the dislike for cops for being dicks. But that’s what they see on TV and in the movies, it’s how the public expects them to act
Her own words and past actions are pretty clear evidenceNo one's a perfect angel, but you said she was guilty. The cops saying she's guilty, or that she was under investigation, does not actually make her guilty. The bulk of the "abundant evidence" seems to be once upon a time she dated a drug dealer. Seems I recall that in this country, you're supposed to be innocent until PROVEN guilty. The fact she's dead makes it hard for her to get her day in court.
I'm giving serious thought into an AR that uses 7.62.
I mean, if I were the type to own guns and have stocked up on 7.62. Ever since my fishing boat sank with all of my guns and ammo in it, and they all ended up in the bottom of the lake, I just haven't had the heart to get into gun and ammo collection again.
My favorite guns are 762/39.7.62 is pretty serious stuff; M-14s firing 7.62 had a pretty good recoil. On full automatic the third round was generally targeting aircraft - even the A1 variant with the bipod and sling grip was a handful. Sheetrock would definitely not be much of a match. A good way to go if you are serious about reaching out and touching someone though.
What was the misconduct?Uhhhhhh
It was a no knock Warrant.
The supposed knock only heard by one of nine potential witnesses doesn’t excuse the gross misconduct and huge **** up by the police.
Unfortunate combination of events!?!?What was the misconduct?
The information that came out shows an unfortunate combination of events, precipitated by Talyors relationship and book keeping of a known drug dealer and felon.
I agree with PJ on this. If I find myself in that situation the break pedal isn’t an option. However I’ll do my due diligence to make sure that I can avoid that situation if humanly possibleNot me. Don't think I've even fired a rifle since my Army days; however, I may or may not have a pistol or so and plenty of ammo. I was just reading about Dorian Banks - and almost thinking about that carry permit I've had for years and never used. I much prefer Lilreb's philosophy about living right and not worrying. My version of living right also means I won't drive on some of the streets I used to use regularly.
An AR that fires 7.62X39... it would be like...I'm giving serious thought into an AR that uses 7.62.
