Byrnes vs St Thomas

lattimore just might have some ball security issues....lmao at the trip tackles by byrnes
please dont judge lattimore by this game. ive watched the kid play 4 years & cant remember him fumbling 3 times period let alone in 1 game. he is a great kid & player & probably crying right no. he is just a kid.

While true, timing is everything, that was probably the biggest game of his life so afar and it happened now, not in some blow out. Because of who he was playing against alot of people will sit up and take notice

Great game. Glad we have miller he will be a beast. We need to get jazz and riggs. And giovanii looked good hope we take one rb.

If it happens in a big game/at a bad time/..etc you get a rep for it. Foster really didn't have a fumbling problem, it just came at bad times.

Lattimores came at a terrible time, so he's going to have to beat off the rep.

Jazz King really impressed me though. I wouldn't mind going after him if we miss out on a couple other WR targets.

I don't remember the exact stats, but I remember someone worked it out to fumbles per carry, and he was like somewhere in the middle out of all the RBs in the country.

ESPN sure did show Urban Cryer, ALOT. I wonder which prospects he was trying to recruit/sway in the gators direction.... kinda seemed desperate to me, but it was good exposure for him/the gators.

I wouldn't call it desperate at all. Coaches do this all the time with prospects they're looking at -- especially with so much D1 talent on the field at once.

guess im just miffed at all the times espn showed him... im not onem to hate on espn but it was obvious they wanted to show his presence at the game...

Yeah, they didn't try to hide it at all. However, they did give the Vols a lot of love with the amount of times they mentioned our name and the guys that are commited to us.

It's a highschool football game dudes, they showed chris carter and joey porter too.

Thought some of you guys might want to watch it...sorry.

No big deal, though...but thanks for policing.

If no one knows where to find it then they might as well.
Thanks for letting me know how I can watch it! Please do it again when it lets us see our future Superheros play!

Yeah, and they showed a lot of people in the stands as well.

This was a little more than a high school game. It was the two top teams in the country with over 25 guys that will be playing on Saturday. Anything can help (or hurt) with recruiting. Regardless, it's not a big deal that Meyer was there and shown numerous times. I won't lose any sleep over it, but thanks for the reply.

Go Vols!

I feel bad for ML....he has to be embarrassed....on national TV no less.
he has no reason to be embarrassed. he will carry byrnes to anothor state title. his heart is broke after tonight but like all great players he will rebound. u can look back & see where the game was lost & debate it. the fumbles, errant kickoff, the wr having his elbow in the ground on the td. was a good high school game.

I watched the whole game, I'm aware that it wasn't the average HS game. If I was a UF fan, I'd be disappointed if CUM wasn't there. All I'm sayin', when a time out happens where do ya think the camera's gonna go?

I see your point, but what else are they going to show? I will take the exsposure UT got rather than a sideline shot of Urbie yucking it up.

Considering he fumbled inside the 5.....fumbled and had it returned for a TD...and fumbled another time...I would say he played a pretty big part...he was no the only reason, but his shaky performance stuck out like a sore thumb...on ESPN.

He was watching Miller destroy anything and everything in his path and watching the other VOL commits up close and personal and wondering to himself, "Damn, Maybe I should take that Notre Dame job"

Carter had a son who played for STA and Porter lives in Miami, not sure if his sons are old enough to be in HS, he also has a home in Cali
