I know that Florida has an off day today and Tennessee doesn't, but how great would it have been if Coach Kiffin was standing across the field from Urban? It just seems like something I could see Lane doing to get under urban's skin.... show up at the same high school game.

Well to be fair...the only 6-7 freshmen we signed this year were from New Jersey and Memphis, not maryville. So I have my doubts too.

There is a 6-6 190lb freshman out of Tennessee playing for UT Martin. Zach Jones?

I don't know if that's him but he is on UT-Martin's roster. Maybe the list isn't updated and he is actually a sophomore now. In which case he was lying.

I don't think meyer is too concerned with UT lite, or any of their October "commits". He knows who the better coach is, and that matters far more than the recruits.

Oh you're right, but Jones is from Memphis as listed on utmsports so that is who I was talking about. Whoever was on here talkin listed himself from maryville, that's all I was saying

well then you must be one of the dumber posters on this forum, because the post made perfect sense and was spot on. Recruiting means NOTHING if you can't coach those players. Look at Ron Zook, dude brought us top recruiting classes every year but at the end of the day he couldn't coach. A good coach, especially one for a team that 2 years ago had a top 5 recruiting class, would have been able to manage much better than a 2-3 start, with 1 of those losses coming against a guy that was thrown into a situation just as bad as yours or worse with Auburn.

Didnt Palardy miss a couple of field goals last friday? I think he pushed a PAT last week too. I like his leg on kick offs and punts. Does anyone have his kicking history stats?

His first field goal miss was against Byrnes. All others were blocked due to line break down. His holder is new as well. He is money on xtra points and fg from 50 and in. He can hit the 60-65 and may get that opportunity this year to do so. He was working on a xtra point streak of 45 in a row when his line collapsed and had it blocked his first xtra point blocked
