Byron D'Vinner back at it again?

Update on De'Vinner per VQ member abb4:

All, I wanted to pass along an update regarding The De'vinner Foundation thread that I started a week or two ago (sorry couldn't find that thread, so I started a new one). A formal investigation is underway and interviews are being conducted. Here is what we know:

- De'vinner has in fact not filed a Form 990 in at least the past 2 years. IF (if being a very key word at this point) he HAS been given a 501c(3) status for his foundation (which is still being investigated) then it can be, and probably will be, revoked due to failure to file the appropriate forms with the IRS. It will also carry penalties.

- BDV is being investigated for several things. First, soliciting funds for a non-profit which does not actually hold a non-profit status AND is not registered as a charitable soliciting organization with the Sec of State office (this has been confirmed). He is also being investigated to see if the funds that were collected were utilized for the purpose presented. This is the criminal element that could get him in deep sh!t. If he solicited funds and collected them (which we know he solicited) then did not put those funds to use for the purpose solicited (even if it wasn't under a legitimate non-profit). This is the difference between being fined as an unregistered solicitor of charitable funds and outright fraud.

Massive LOLs

I'm not sure you and I are talking about the same thing when we use the term: Process of Equilibrium. My meaning relations the social evolution of an individual or group.

DarkGable, I found a copy of the POE if you happen be interested enough to examine it:

The Process of Equilibrium
I first encounter this from a professor with a psychiatrist degree while visiting her university.

1. Meek submission to unfair realities imposed by the dominant group.

2. Begins to question and complain about realities imposed by the dominant group.

3. Begins immersion in own group’s history and values.

4. Passive defiance to realities imposed by the dominant group.

5. Begins to organize resistance to realities imposed by the dominant group.

6. Begins to publicly vocalize or protest against realities imposed by the dominant group.

7. If number six unsuccessful, may begin more aggressive but non-violent defiance against realities imposed by the dominant group.

8. If number seven is unsuccessful, may begin violent defiance against realities imposed by the dominant group.

9. Depending on developments from number eight, may begin to realize that not all members of the dominant group wish to impose the unfair realities imposed by the dominant group.

10. Begins to realize that some members of the non-dominant group do not share the values of their own group and are detrimental it’s the group’s goals.

11. Begins to reevaluate own views and the views of others regarding realities imposed by the dominant group.

12. Begins to reevaluate certain members of own and of the dominant group.

13. Begins establishing relations based on actual experiences with individuals in both groups.

14. Begins to ally self with members of both groups who share a goal of fairness and mutual respect for both groups.

15. Reaches a point of satisfaction (equilibrium) regarding personal relationships with members of both groups.
Hey thank you for that. The process has definitely enlightened me. I showed a few partners of mind due our conversation spilling over into the real world and this helped. Appreciate you my brotha.

If it wasn't practical why would we talk about it. We live in a world full of variants. We have to always consider them before we look at any topic. We all made that mistake with judging Dooley. Being a 21 year old, I'm glad that Dooley showed many people how reality sucks, and things don't hardly ever go right.

Good I hope they bust his fat ass

any updates?

Doubt it. Boy should have known that Vols fans are a rabid bunch. You just don't get them riled up about something. If they can be so mean as to throw items at Condredge Holloway's mom because he didn't play well after being hurt, they will do anything. Boy should have known better. He's done for.
