Byron D'Vinner back at it again?

Its just not true. If people would research it instead of making a blanket statement because they think its the same you might see the difference. You hear the word pride and try to connect dots. Anyway apparently D'Vinner's site is down. I think its catching up to him.

Quick update on why his website is down. Apparently, one of the VQ posters did a little research on a website called quidestar which determines if non-profit organizations are registered properly with the state. After seeing that De'Vinner's foundation was not listed on this resource. The same poster supposedly has a contact in the Secretary of the State office and another friend who works in Governor Haslam's office as well. He said that several calls were made based on how his charitable organization was improperly registered with the state and violated the Solicitation of Charitable Funds Act, Tenn. Code Ann. §§ 48-101-501.

Don't know how legit this is. TIFWIW. But it's obvious something changed today and De'Vinner's website is currently down.

Adding these quotes to the post from VQ,

As of this afternoon, a formal report has been filed with the Secretary of State regarding The De'vinner Foundation. I will keep everyone updated as I hear more.

people need to call 1-800-861-7393 which is the number the secretary of state office gives for charitable solicitation complaints.

Ruh roh, DeVinner pissed the guvnah off. Good news. Thanks for the update. :hi:

Too much gobbligook. We don't live in that we are all one species world. We're human beings with free will. That's means you're going to have cultures and subcultures and within those groups there's going to be problems. The civil rights movement was necessary due to the climate of that time. Laws had to be changed so that we could be inclusive. Its not black and white like back in the day but we are still going through growing pains as a society. We are multi cultural now and that's hard for some to accept. I know blacks that are racist towards Hispanics but have white friends. That blows my mind. Anyway I stand by the claim that there is nothing wrong with White pride, Black pride, Mexican pride. That's not the problem. The problem is those individuals that corrupt in that group and get others to follow suit and think like them. Its ok to be proud of your particular race. There are those that study this for a living and say the same. Race, ethnicity, culture is a beautiful thing man. (puff puff pass fool)

More or less we're saying the same thing, Darkgable, gobbleygook or not. I didn't say pride was the problem, I said exploitation and greed was. You don't even have to be White or Black for that. Just look at Asian on Asian discrimination (Chinia vs. Tibet and the Cantonese), European on European (Russia and Georgia, British vs. Scots and Irish), the inter-tribal behaviors in Rwanda, Burundi, Kenya,, and Ghana, caste systems in India and Arabia-and the mess just goes on and on. Humans are just plain too stupid to live in peace. I even believe if it wasn't for religions, we'd actually be worse. As a matter of fact, more than ever now, groups are using religion to make it worse.

Now, the other stuff you rightly say was necessary, no argument. That's why I said you should be awareof the specific list of prgressions found in the Process of Equilibrium. If you wish, I'll try to locate a copy for you so you see exactly what I mean. The behavior of humans does make it necessary to facilitate changes, sometimes in a drastic manner.

I also believe you're a decent person or not, less by circumstance than by what kind of person you choose to be. As for poster who stated he can't stand haters, I understand and concur, unfortunately, the world is full of them. It's human stupidity.

Options:

1. Read the thread's progress.
2. Note "De'Vinegar's racist comments.
3. Conversations tend to be like rivers, they meander.

The real question is how did such a debate remain so civil without all the reckless emotionalism you usually see with it.

Respect of others opinions, and maturity from our participants. The mod thought it was a miracle.

The era of exploration also had a ton of that also.Equilibrium: where two different things can completely balance. Like a level headed person. This all starts with Aristotle.

I'm not sure you and I are talking about the same thing when we use the term: Process of Equilibrium. My meaning relations the social evolution of an individual or group.

DarkGable, I found a copy of the POE if you happen be interested enough to examine it:

The Process of Equilibrium
I first encounter this from a professor with a psychiatrist degree while visiting her university.

1. Meek submission to unfair realities imposed by the dominant group.

2. Begins to question and complain about realities imposed by the dominant group.

3. Begins immersion in own group’s history and values.

4. Passive defiance to realities imposed by the dominant group.

5. Begins to organize resistance to realities imposed by the dominant group.

6. Begins to publicly vocalize or protest against realities imposed by the dominant group.

7. If number six unsuccessful, may begin more aggressive but non-violent defiance against realities imposed by the dominant group.

8. If number seven is unsuccessful, may begin violent defiance against realities imposed by the dominant group.

9. Depending on developments from number eight, may begin to realize that not all members of the dominant group wish to impose the unfair realities imposed by the dominant group.

10. Begins to realize that some members of the non-dominant group do not share the values of their own group and are detrimental it’s the group’s goals.

11. Begins to reevaluate own views and the views of others regarding realities imposed by the dominant group.

12. Begins to reevaluate certain members of own and of the dominant group.

13. Begins establishing relations based on actual experiences with individuals in both groups.

14. Begins to ally self with members of both groups who share a goal of fairness and mutual respect for both groups.

15. Reaches a point of satisfaction (equilibrium) regarding personal relationships with members of both groups.

Equilibrium exists in every phase of life. I'm glad I learned something new. Thank you. This is pretty much true through out history. My question to you sir is how does the dominate group justify that submission? Isn't by racial pride devolving to racial superiority in this chain?
The #1 rule of debate is to keep emotions out. In the good ole great chain of being emotions are below reason.

Burger, humans will use any justification for exhibiting superiority and control over each other. It can be race related, religion related, political affiliation related, social status related, economic status related, familial heritage and even familial hierarchy related. If an excuse can't be found for looking down upon and mistreating a person or group, an excuse will be invented. You see it in the history of how patriarch groups treat women, how the admittedly few matriarch groups treated men. It's seems that humans even when no need justifies it, insist on a pecking order that allows and encourages abuse of others. So no, it doesn't even have to be race related. We Americans think that way because we're regionally isolated from the main body of human history which is in Europe, Asia, and Africa.

Here's an example. If I recall right a friend of Hiriam Maxim told him to invent a gun that was better at killing. That Eurpeans would eagerly purchase it for the benefit of cutting each others throats. That they'd invent some trumped up excuse to seek "glory" and exhibit their "bravery" by restarting some dimly remembered past conflict. WWI proved him right. Thus the Maxim machine gun saw plenty of action. Europeans are all Caucasians, except a small group living in the freezing far north and inhibiting the steppes. Yet they had the same attitudes. Race can be but isn't necessary for the superiority complex to be evoked.

Just look at Arabic nations today. Their conflict is largely politico-religious in nature, while racially they're all the same. Humans are just stupid that way.

Yep, this is pretty much true. It's just basically that people that feel overly prideful or superior about their race or religion. I think were only focusing on race for right now as religion is a different matter.
Humans always found excuses for what they done. The crusaders killed millions of Muslims trying to make the holy land Christian again. It always starts with a form of pride that develops.

You forgot the substantial Roma population that has been subjugated to the holocaust and more recently getting booted from entire countries (France). Let's also not forget the forced sterilization that occurred all the way until the 1980s. I do not think there is an ethnicity that has experienced more discrimination and atrocities against them then the Roma. It hits close to home for me.

From Reality 1998 on VQ

A. Reported his Facebook page as fraudulent
Facebook
B. Called the State Dept # to anonymously report his fraudulent foundation
(615) 741-2555
C. Filled out the State Dept charitable donations fraud sheet/complaint form
State Complaint Form
D. Call local high school coaches he may be associated with to voice your concerns in light of the fact that he has been accepting charitable donations as a nonprofit organization without filing any paper work to do so. Even better if your an alum or donor to a high school make the call to voice your concerns.
E. Report tax suspected tax evasion to the IRS in light of the claimed but not substantiated non-profit status by BDV
IRS Form

This is how you legally bring down a menace to our society, take some time to ensure that ol byron has every one of his ducks in a row, if not, he had it coming anyway.

Exactly, the guy was so arrogant where he wasn't seeing his own mistakes.

BDV apparently is trying to reposition himself.

Per poster on VQ

BDV posted on Vandy's 247 board that all of his accounts have been hacked and it wasn't him tweeting and posting all the hate towards UT. Said he has gotten the police involved. FYI

BDV posted a few times after Barton Simmons (247 analyst) called him out in the thread. Timeline of the thread:A Vandy fan started a thread asking Simmons his take on BDV's hating on UT. Simmons said he BDV was a tool (my paraphrase). BDV then posted about being hacked. Vandy fans tried to stand up for BDV then several UT fans joined the thread. BDV didn't have an answer for questions from UT posters (imagine that). Such a tool!

You know, if you look back in this thread, I expressed some suspicion that he had a James Franklin (Vandy) connection. The above doesn't prove it but....
Repositioning won't work because as I understand it, he has a history that reinforces a tendency for the type of stuff spewed at the Vols coaches and program.

De'Vinegar, if you haven't figured it out yet, Don't mess with the Zohan (Vols fans).

If you ask me (which you haven't, of course) so-called racial pride is just plain human stupidity.
There's one race (i.e. species) It's called homo sapiens sapiens. It includes variations marked by different physical traits. Not unlike species elephant, which include/included pygmy elephants, African elephants, Asian elephants and so forth marked by varying physical traits. Environmental stimuli forces physical traits upon a species, we call it adaption. If I recall right, rats, chimpanzees, and humans are the only species that engage in organized intra-warfare without justifiable cause. Justifiable cause involves limited food, limited space, or other survive related pressures. However, humans began instead to be motivated by exploitation and outright greed. In humans this leads to hatreds and artificially justifying of hate. Which creates behaviors that end up being self-fulfilling prophesies, thus a loop for the hate and hating behaviors to perpetuate by both the haters and hated, who become haters themselves. Eventually, the attitude and behavior gets politicized. Which is an exercise in downright stupidity by all parties. I would suggest you become familiar with something called the process of social equilibrium. Most sources gloss over the concept but there actually is a list to show the relationship and process between the oppressor and oppressed, whether inter-tribal or across social stratas.

You realize that humanity didnt begin yesterday, right? Pride generally comes from a sense of accomplishments and victories over trials and tribulations. Pride is something that can come from anything. So to narrow it down is pure foolishness.

You realize you just proved my point, right? :hi:

Really? I stopped reading after you said "racial pride is pure human stupidity". Kinda the opposite of what I was saying unless you're living in bizzaro world.

If you stopped reading, why are you responding to my posts? Which kind of tells everyone what kind of world you're living in. And proves my other point about humans being kind of stupid when it comes to issues of pride. Now, because I recognize your aim is to provoke and engage in a 3 year old child's game of tit for tat, I'm ignoring further commentary from you today and on this topic to spare to spare the board denizens. If you ever grow up and decide to be something meaningful, bless you, child. If not, well, the world is full of your kind so you won't be lonely.

So, until the next asteroid hit,

Woodsmanvol :hi:
