Thankfully you were spot on. I, in an overly wordy fashion, have expressed a position that if we kept the situation in the limelight that he would be cleared for play. Letter of the law or not, the bottom line of the new rules is that every player gets to transfer and have and use immediate eligibility ONE TIME in his career. He transferred and did not play at Texas, and then transferred back to USC and did not play. USC denied him the opportunity to even stay on campus, how could the NCAA tell a guy the ONLY school you can play for this year is USC after they did the woke thing and cow towed to Title IX fears without the support of the legal processes.

Had he missed a single game while the machine was working, the NCAA feared the POTENTIAL backlash that the internet could inspire among the natives for handcuffing a guy with the ending of his USC saga, and not applying EITHER an interpretation of ONE TIME or the still available waiver process. They would have to join USC to deny Bru the chance to play two years in a row with a still limited clock and it was pretty obvious the Vol nation was going to share that fact with the broadcast world. Free Bru signs would not have been targeting USC.

Why is that guy such a genuine chode? Like anything good that happens for UT is either because Heupel is cheating or will end up being a negative (somehow) in his rather idiotic mind. I’ve never seen anyone, not even opposing fans, spin things as negatively as he does. I wish he’d just go away
