'19 CA ATH/WR Horace "Bru" McCoy (Tennessee commit)

Bru will absolutely eat in our system. A lot of 1 on 1 opportunities, breaking tackles is his specialty. Should be around 230lbs of solid muscle, perfect SEC WR. 1 and done guy IMO

Gonna be brutal for opposing defenses.

A lot of SEC DCs heading for some bruised egos.

Even Bruin won’t be able to argue with our offensive output this season.

Haven't seen anything from Keyton to suggest he's a high level SEC receiver. Really need McCoy.

In fairness, hasn’t McCoy vastly underachieved in a much weaker conference so far? The competition will be good for the position but I can’t say I’m sold McCoy has shown anything to indicate he can be second fiddle to Tillman.

McCoy has barely played - partially his own fault due to getting suspended (not saying he "did it" but something obviously happened) and when he did it was on a sh!t team. With those measurables and the pedigree you have to assume he's a high end talent, and at this point I think it's fair to say Keyton, while serviceable in the SEC, is not that. Question will be how ready he is to jump into the SEC and perform at a high level.

The talent is there, but you are right, he sure hasn't shown it yet. And we have to hope that a guy from Los Angeles who got homesick in Austin will feel like he fits in better in Knoxville.

He had 21 catches for 234 yds as a true freshman which is pretty good as a true freshman.

Also was a 6 game season thanks to Covid and PAC 12. He was prime for a breakout year before suspension. Considering Riley is trying to get him to stay at USC should speak to what they think talent wise

He hasn't played due to injury and USC had legit WR's ahead of him... Velus had to transfer because he wasn't going to see the field and he balled out here.

Yep. Drake London, Amon-Ra St. Brown, and Michael Pittman, specifically. London will possibly be the first WR taken in the draft, this year. ARSB was a 4th rounder and a rookie starter for Detroit last year, and Pittman was a 2nd rounder and rookie starter in 2020.

USC is pumping out WRs.

He was a 5 star ATHLETE coming out of HS. Specifically remember Barton Simmons and co raving about how he's actually a better edge rusher. So you know if he somehow doesn't have it at WR you switch him and get 10 sacks. Go watch the high school film of him at Mater Dei the annual top HS team in the nation, with the toughest schedule in the nation. You bring this kid in no brainer
