'19 CA ATH/WR Horace "Bru" McCoy (Tennessee commit)

Why would anyone in the south decide to fly out to California for a Disney trip instead of just going to Orlando? Unless he's got family out there and wants to knock out two things in one trip...I have a hard time seeing it.

Why wouldn't they. We can go to Orlando anytime. It's a 10-11 hr drive or can hop on a place. Been there done that. Plus if you're out there for 5-7 days you can hit up Vegas, the Grand Canyon. LAKE Havasu in Arizona. Even visiting Oregon would be double. Not to mention seeing Hollywood and catching a baseball game in LA, Oak,SF or SD. That's not a trip you can just up and do like it is going to Orlando. Way more stuff to do on the left coast.

wouldn’t sleep on Keyton or Calloway starting either
im sleeping on Keyton, Hyatt and Calloway. Nobody deserves any type of hype right now. They way those 3 performed last year was pretty bad. Running wrong routes, not catching the ball, etc. They know what they need to do. im ready to see them prove it on the field before i hype them up.

Hiatt improved as the year went on I felt. It seemed he was dogged by the fans by his bad drops early in the year and didn’t get a lot of playing time during the middle of the season because of it, but made some really nice grabs down the stretch.

Keyton is a role player...doesn't have star power potential like the others
Keyton like others needed good coaching. Palmer probably would have been considered a role player at best prior to the new staff.

Calloway, Merrill, and Keyton have a great opportunity for big roles. The younger players could sneak in too.

IMO, part of the adjustment away from Milton was the realization that the WR's weren't ready to play 6 or 7 deep. They reduced the rotation to improve the rapport between Hooker and the 3 man guys plus some spot play from Hyatt and Keyton. With a full year for those guys to get on the same page with HH... I fully expect UT to get quality play from 6-8 WR's this fall.

But Tillman had enough upside. Keyton isn’t fast enough and you can’t coach up speed.

My disappointment with Keyton to this point is when you're not a burner you should show hands of glue. He hasn't to this point. He should have a perimeter around the ball to catch everything in the area. With that said, he still has time.

Yeah it was almost a guaranteed drop with him last year
