All those guys are talented, no? Ignont the one possible exception. Bituli probably our 2nd or 3rd best defender last year. Crouch and Peterson obviously haven't had the chance to put it together yet. I will gladly eat crow if Henry ends up at Bama and is dominant, but I really don't see it. Better DL play and pass rush are crucial and w/o it the best of guys can look bad sometimes.

Saying that Bituli was 2nd or 3rd best isn't a ringing endorsement when you have like 2 good defenders on the team lol. Bituli is smart, but runs like he's in sand. DK clearly had no idea how the 3-4 defense worked. He was freakishly late diagnosing run plays and making a play. I haven't seen decision making that slow since Ladarrel McNeil. Always loved seeing the play come to an end then #33 comes running in 3 seconds later.

I'd caution everyone making statements about our front 7 to remember that we switched from a 4-3 to a 3-4. The adjustments at both levels are enormous. Very few players make that transitionally smoothly in only one year. Give some of the guys an extra year learning assignments, and I guarantee 4-5 players will surprise you this year.

Callahan on 247 says he is not changing his crystal ball prediction on Henry T. Says if he had to make a prediction this very moment that it would be Bama. But still thinks Tennessee could swing the momentum back. Also said he has heard nothing about JP not getting to go in house.

It’s already been alluded to, by someone with inside contact, that job(s) played a part.
And we thought it was a big deal to get Drew Richmond's girlfriend up here or get Trey Smith's sister a job.

Bama relocating entire families..............

this is just getting ridiculous.

glad phil is back. can't wait for him to blow the whistle on this.
:)

Yes.

"I'm told To'oto'o and his family spent a lot of time around the Tagovailoa's and that seemed to help dissuade any concerns with Lupoi no longer being there" (Simonton).

He wasn't committed because of Tosh. He was committed because it's Saban, Bama, championships, sprinkled with some Polynesian.
He is not committed yet. And I been saying we need some polynesian dudes here. But the tags are QB family. Dont see how that helps him become an outstanding LB.
