Way to blow everything out of proportion. We were talking Butch v Dooley. Not a single person has said 1 good thing Dooley's teams did. I have provided evidence. Guess the Dooley lovers already gave up.

Butch didn't actually have 8 losses.

Boohoo give me 1 4-8 season vs 6-7, 5-7, 5-7. At least we had a couple good seasons. Best back to back seasons in over 15 years.

Let me get this Wright. Some of you have you feathers Russell'd about some rumors. I dont give a Toot about that stuff. But I be Pickens out flaws of some of your posts. In the past that was easier with the over signing, and attrition. Wasn't as much as usual and limits in place. Plus comparing Tennessee to other schools involves many other factors; recruiting base, recent history, big splashy hire, team needs, head coaching vision about how to rebuild, past coaches system vs new. Typical recruiting classes that have big ratings lean towards "skill" positions pushing the star rating higher. Pruitt has focused in other areas which has reduced overall rating a bit. If improvement is achieved this upcoming season, ranking will/should improve quite a bit.

I have been following the Vols most of my 54 years. Been a Vol fan as soon as I was old enough to know what was going on. I have been mixing it up on message boards since the internet started. I am not going anywhere, my skin is plenty thick. GBO!

Tell them what, that the sky is falling because some Tennessee fans see anything other than the number one class as a sign that this coach is not worthy. In reality, is because every person wants to have that negative hot take so they can be the enlightened one.

I'm curious -- what message boards? I don't remember message boards on the early internet. I remember local BBS, and national services like Compuserve, Delphi, and the Source. On the internet, I remember telnet, gopher, ftp, etc., to transfer files. I don't remember message boards on the internet before the web came along.

Afterthought -- doing the arithmetic, looks like you weren't talking yet, when the internet started, in the 60s, with ARPAnet.

That's the weakest s*** I've ever heard. If the only thing stopping a recruit from coming to Tennessee is money we should start paying elite athletes too. It's not though. People don't want to play at Tennessee because we haven't been relevant in nearly 20 years

Not even close. Those 2010 and 2014 classes were great. Some players just couldn't stay healthy or didn't live up to expectations. There's no guarantee any of the guys in this class do either though. Outside of the offensive line this class really isn't that great either. There's no elite pass rushers, corners, receivers, or tailbacks or linebackers. There are some guys with potential. Like Crouch, Gray, Keyton, Harrison, Tank, Harris, and Fields, but saying adding Wright will give us a better class than the 2010 or 2014 class is crazy
