YawnBama has signed Shane Lee who's 6-0.5/235 and he's real good, with a high football IQ, but not as fast or as good in pass coverage as To'oto'o. Bama has also signed Christian Harris who's 6-1.5/235 and believe it or not he played CB in HS. So he's a fast athletic freak but he's got a lot to learn about playing the ILB position at a starting SEC level. Benton and Moody that are on the roster are solid depth guys.
Kaho is a lot like To'oto'o and will have a year in the program by fall so he'll probably take Wilson's starting spot along side Moses for 2019. So, To'oto'o seems most likely to be the one who'd take Moses starting spot for 2020. Moses ended up a true freshman starter later in the 2017 season due to injuries.
Bama had stupidly slow played Kaho (losing him to Washington) for JJ Peterson and Walker and then had to scramble to get 3-star Moody. They lucked up because Kayo had to take a summer course to qualify at Washington and Kaho managed to get Washington to release him from his NLI. Early departures to the NFL dropped the ILB depth too low, so Bama needs to take three in this cycle.
He's been before.Last thing Bammer will want To'oto'o to do is visit Neyland. He has no idea what he is in for if he visits but Saban knows what it is like. This is causing the Bammer boys a lot of indigestion and heart burn. Tums won't help this one. If the kid visits he will be blown away and Sabby knows it as well as the rest of his staff. Their problem is they can't pressure To'oto'o not to visit because they don't want to make that mistake even though they know it is a mistake on their part if he does visit.
If he sets foot in knoxville it will be like riding in on a tornado. He'll be dazzled and dizzy by the time he leaves. I like our chances
"Eboigbe, Marshall, Anderson, Gr...no, wait a minute...can't say Eric Gray...he doesn't fit my narrative. Damn! I just won't mention him; maybe they won't notice."Referring to Eboigbe, Marshall, Anderson, etc. People we pursued in the final months vs a recruit like Crouch/Wright that we have been pursuing all year long.
It is pretty amazing we're in the final hunt for a few of the top guys left on the board. If he flies cross-country in January and visits Bama and doesn't visit UT, count him out. Otherwise, the Vols are right in the thick of it and the OVs will factor into his final decision.
The OVs are not his first trip-- he visited both schools in June.
