If I were Pruitt, I'd have Nieds sitting at the airport waiting on him and his family, whenever they arrived home from Bama visit.

If I were Pruitt, I'd have Neids beat them home today via private jet and meet them at the airport.
If i was pruitt, I would have Neids beat them home today via private jet, clean the house, and gather the essentials needed for a sleepover...

Is that too creepy? If it is, Harbough did it... 😁

Just reading the tea leaves UT is very much in it.

Placing odds right now is somewhat futile with there being a visit pending. Especially given where.

If this were his last visit confidence would and should be high.

Lotta game left.

My source told me that Pruitt could not do the haka right and now its 50/50.

Could you imagine Pruitt just trying the haka

Everyone riding quite high after the visit. Couldn’t have gone any better in their opinion. Even then however we all know three weeks is an eternity in recruiting. We will be all over him between now and then. I like where we stand but still to far away. No doubt though the staff is riding high right now with how it went.
If still too far away, anything to keep an eye on that says that ground got made up?

That is a big reason why I wanted Freeze, I knew Pruitt 100% trust him and can focus on defense. We got the same deal minus the baggage, homerun hire for all involved

But minus the elite Xs and Os. But, Chaney has more sustainability. Wiuld Freeze really be an oc long term??

I want Russell on the team. I hope that Callahan is right and we're going to try and sign the full 25. We need them.

We CAN sign 25, doesnt mean we will. I mean, odds we hit every homerun down the stretch is statistically extremely unlikely. Jmo, but I see us taking 23 and leaving a couple spots open either, 1) to get DL grad transfers or 2) so we can get numbers evened out for next year/doing away with ongoing blueshirts.

Finished with the 4th class in the country in 2015. We’re not sniffing the 4th class this year no matter who we finish with.

It’s an excellent class in spots (OL), while being very good in others (TE, QB, DB), while lacking in others (DL, rush end/OLB, and LB). We’ll see how we finish.

Class rankings change each year, even with the same class, due to different distributions. ie 2014 was #7 with 270 points, yet that would be #10 on an average year. We could land ~284 points with an elite ending, but it would still be well lower.

Moral of the story: focus on class total points and average recruit ranking, not class ranking.

Good information. One thing to remember is the player development aspect of things. If 80-90% of the players we sign wind up being solid contributors, its a success. With Butch Jones, we were lucky to have 40% of the class contribute. The other 60% were eating chili dogs on the bench.
Jeremy Pruitt will develop his players. Butch Jones did not.

80-90% is absurdly unrealistic. Go look at the top 10 recruits NATIONALLY from 4,5,6 years ago and see how many busted. Much more than most people think. And those are top 10 nationally, not merely top 247 or all 4/5*s.

Yep.

If you get 66.7 percent of each class to contribute or live up to the ranking, you're doing well!
