If it turns out to be a miss, then it’s totally on us. We were one of his favorites. Just didn’t make him a priority. Hopefully it means enough good news elsewhere.
Were we not pushing, or did he just lose interest? Maybe we need to try and open that door back up?

Could be that the staff isn't pushing for him because they feel good about landing several other o-linemen...i.e. Mauigoa, Ramil, Simmons, etc.

With the miss on maguoia, Simmons, and Ramil, I would. Kid has family in Knoxville and knows Nico. Not easy to flip a bama commit but if there was ever a chance to I’d think it would be this guy so long as he’s not too butthurt for us not pushing harder earlier.

According to 247, Bama has 4 tackles (including Raymond). Some of these guys will transfer, purely on the numbers game. Just like the 2 qb’s they have committed

Sorry for the bump. Was wondering if this could be one of the o-linemen that was talked about that was reaching out to us again? We need all we can get.

Everyone said NIL is gonna level the playing field in recruiting. Looking at the current recruiting classes, I see nothing different than any other year.
You see no difference in the rankings. Part of that is the services absolutely boost players if they commit to certain teams. Do you find our class as a whole disappointing? I don't. Despite what the services say, I think we got some talented players. They probably won't be immediate contributors, but they'll be great players before they leave here.
