Disagree, look at Trevor Lawrence. He was a rail at Clemson his freshman year and was fine. This kid is 210-215 right now so he'll probably be 220-225 by the time fall of 2023.

I haven’t seen anything that says he’s 215 already, but yeah… that’s kinda my point… he’s an absolute stud at 220-225. Last I saw he was 200-205 at 6’5 or 6’6”… I’m going off the assumption that most of the numbers are probably slightly inflated and he’s not actually his listed weight. I know my college bio said 6’2 230 and neither of those were true haha

Max Preps has him at 215. Even at 205 as a junior still gives him a year to put on 10-15 pounds before ever getting to college.

If I remember correctly Tyler Bray was 6'5"/6'6" and was very skinny his freshman and sophomore years did put on some weight his JR year.

So I'm not worried about that, he will put on some weight (muscle,size, strength) plus from what I've seen he's got quick feet and quick release. He will be just fine.

Man he got that feel for the game that you can’t coach he could be really special the crazy thing is I feel really good about tayven Jackson too but this kid plays in a more explosive offense in high school… if we can find a way to get him the future will be extremely bright at Tennessee…

Getting a 5* QB in the boat early isn't just huge for the obvious reasons. It's also huge for perception of other top recruits.

I would be curious to see the recruiting class ranking discrepancy when a school gets a highly rated QB to commit early versus when they don’t.

Completely my opinion but I would rather have a sli underweight kid from SOCAL than a comparably talented kid from the midwest who’s a little more filled out. I bet this kid has seen some real legit QB tutoring.
