Not an insider and the article didn't name a recruit. I'm just putting pieces together, we're one of the few schools in the nation with a known collective agency. Basilio stated that our NIL war chest is larger than most including Alabama due to the common fan can donate 19.50 a month. Nico's uncle started tweeting about a program getting a life changing qb... on3 jumping predictions to us.. I could get egg on my face but there is flames around this not smoke.

I probably should finish catching up before replying, but Chris Simms (Matt's older brother) committed to Fulmer and switched to TX pretty late in recruiting season (can't remember specifically when but it was late enough to really screw the pooch as they say).

We made out ok. Clausen was better in the next class.

They don’t. Gotta remember that Cali’s all progressive. Football stays huge in the South whether players get paid or not. As is they get paid under the table like it is in the Bible!

Has to be. There isn’t any smoke about anyone else out there. Only a QB makes that money. We have the collective. The article says he’ll get paid now. Only someone in cali can get paid now. Ubben contributed, the lawyer who wrote it up is from Newport Beach. It’s him. Has to be.

For $8m results are gonna be expected...How believable is this? I'm guessing some of that is incentives based on play

Yep, that price tag means expectations. You damn sure better win a championship and you can't whine if the fanbase rides that boney ass if you flop.
