I will agree with you on the first part but I will have to differ with you on the last. We are in good communication/possible visits due to him being involved because some of these guys we were not in play for at all.

If nothing else, getting Kasper on campus drove up the price Oregon had to pay to get him. Meanwhile, we have numerous options at wide receiver that are just as good as him. We will be fine.

The fact remains. UT has always been in on big recruits. More times than not, they have us in their top 3-5. It's been this way for the better part of 2 decades. We just haven't been able to close. With a name like yours, you'd think you'd be completely aware of that.

I mean, if a top tier guy has a top 5...what do you think our odds should be across dozens of guys?

Maybe about 20%?

It's just a numbers game, you're expected to lose a significant majority when there are multiple top competitors.

It reminds me of when you have 10 different fanbases all berating their team for not winning it every other year...it can't work like that. It just can't.
