Not sure there's any evidence Nico could this coming year either. Way to add to the ad nauseum, I guess? This off-season will be huge for him ...I mean how many of these "Offseasons" does this kid need??This is a never ending debate and both sides continue to say the same things ad nauseum. If doesnt reslly matter if ur using science or patterns or whatever bill nye the science guy crsp u spew the facts we have to date say Milton can't be a starting Sec qb.
I hope he does and blows us away but I don't think it happens unfortunately. There isn't one single shred of evidence thar says he can lead this football team into the swamp or Alabama and get us a win,if anything it's completely opposite and more likely than not he sh*ts the bed
We will not know that until next year. Let Heupel the chance to develop him. Silly to talk about it until Spring ball is over. It's not crapping the bed.
Peyton vs Florida is more crapping the bed.
Even tho Peyton had pretty decent numbers most years vs UF.
Joe Milton simply IS NOT an even decent QB.
He's far from good, and doesn't even grasp many of the small details of the position.
Foundational stuff like taking the check down , or running in open space on 3rd and short.
He's a complete momentum killer at QB.
It's astonishing how many people on here CANT SEE WHAT'S RIGHT IN FRONT OF THEM.

Swain and Josh talked about this quite a bit today. They stated very plainly that Nico would be third simply because of the learning curve and speed difference in the game he is facing. That was assuming TJ stays. It makes him feel important, along with the constant denigration of posters he deems less knowledgeable than him, which is clearly everyone. Kinda sad.
No you're just wrong. It makes him feel important, along with the constant denigration of posters he deems less knowledgeable than him, which is clearly everyone. Kinda sad.

Everything you've said is wrong.
There are at least 5 other posters on here that have a decent knowledge base, that have many times made me reexamine my opinion.
There's literally nothing BUT bad football by Milton yet you paint him as the automatic starter.
Then you talk about learning our style offense when Nico has played in a very similar system for 2 years posting 7,000 yards and 75 TDs.
You just don't know wtf you're talking about.
YOU.
Yeah I trust Heupel to do whats best to keep his job too
This is gonna sound so VolNationy, but Milton would be an insane tight end, like the way Fant was used.Or maybe they realize they’re not college football coaches and have decided to trust the staff and hope for the best for a dude who chose to come to UT when nobody else wanted to. He’s also been a huge piece in ushering in a new culture in the locker room.
Maybe it doesn’t work for him. That’s ok too. We’ll then get to see an amazing young QB.
I see this as a win-win.
