Milton will start as QB1 in spring, but it will be a race. Legit competition every day to keep TJ and Nico from overtaking him. He will have to get better. Nothing but good comes from this. Spring ball will be fun

I dont think he has the "want" to play any other posistion, and with his arm it's hard to argue. Even with a 50% completion rating NFL teams will be drooling over him next year.

He’s ran hard this year, never shying from contact. It’s something the VQ guys said they worked with him on. They specifically kept him from running vs Vandy due to depth and weather

I looked it up and he does have a good average this year. I guess I am greedy and just want to see more of it.

Nico is too skinny to survive his freshman year against the SEC meat grinder. Bazooka Joe gets next year and the Tayven Jackson is second man up. It’s simple

Rivals lists his weight at 205 pounds. That's bigger than Peyton was as a freshman, and he seems to have done okay.

I saw a clip the other day from his high school coach and got excited all over again! I forgot Nico and Bryce went to same school but coach definitely puts Nico in Bryce’s class as a qb.

I fully expect Milton to start the season and I hope he kills it but if he doesn’t, I think we’ll see Nico take over. JMO

He will still get hit and take shots while going through progressions. I would hate to have seen Nico take that shot that HH took against LSU on Sampsons whiff. I am assuming Milton will be our starter come Virginia game. I hope he balls out all year long. If he doesn’t pan out I trust our coaches to make the right decision. I also think it would be a good idea to get a one year transfer to come join us unless coaches trust that the guy we have backing up Joe now will be serviceable just in case. All we’ll have is Joe, TJ and Nico along with Shuler and the guy that followed the coaches here. I can’t think of his name.We won’t have any experience at qb next year other than what Joe has. I think it will be better for Nicos long term future to not be rushed in. Didn’t work out to well for JG being rushed in.

Nico himself could say Milton is the best and most prepared QB on the team and they would still argue that Milton isn’t it. Lol
