Cade Mays

Lol, you shouldn't get so upset when someone expresses an opinion different from your, not healthy.

Following social media accounts of people you dont know is weird, when they are high school kids its more weird.

You don't Twitter do you

From what I hear, we are to expect major decommits and more transfers. Obviously Mays being the biggest decommit.

After the not very well disguised blitz of "COMMITTED" twitter posts today, I'd say its very likely we see recruits start to decomit, some players leave, and other recruits put UT down their list.

He's committed to the U not the coach. Legacies aren't committed to a coach.

You are not correct in this case. Teammates and close friends with Butch's son. He is very uncomfortable with the level of vitriol that Butch has received from Tennessee fans.

If that truly is the case then he can go. I would much rather have a guy who is committed to the school rather than the coach.

That statement would apply to maybe three of the current commits.

I'm not arguing to keep Butch, that ship has long sailed for me. But you have to understand that in today's world of relationship-based recruiting, a coaching change or rumors of a coaching change is going to blow up a class.

Hard to believe that a kid who has allegedly cursed out half the players he's gone up against would have a weak stomach for what's been said to a grown man making north of 4 million a year.

Mays was a Vol long before Butch even came to Knoxville.

Losing Mays would be downright depressing. Hope he sticks with Tennessee for the university not the coach.

DP can you weigh in on what is going on behind the scenes?

Not only the class. I've watched changes for nearly 60 years. A change likely comes and when it does, the recruiting class will change. There will be transfers. Assistants will change. The new guy will begin the process of reworking things the way he wants and the program starts over with a core roster that fits what the new man wants to do. Fans need to begin thinking along the lines of a 2-3 year minimum to process/turnover of the program before we can hope to run with the better teams.....and that assumes we finally make the right hire. No quick fix.

I mean who are you going to get in the middle of the season that's not named Chip Kelly? No coach is going to leave their team in the middle of the season.

Fire bUTch!!! Place the current O.C. with an interim tag and let's finish the season.
Then use the last 9 weeks of the season to find a new coach and not have a sense of urgency....

You want Larry Scott as our interim? Have you watched offensive Tennessee football any this year?

Last night while listening to ESPNU radio, the talking heads were going on about the ESPN article about Barb that released yesterday. (How convenient for the Butch). Can't remember who it was, but one guy said "Currie does not want to fire Butch." Went on about how Butch may force his hand if the team doesn't play better.

Didnt realize I was upset. Is if because I said ef? lol

Cheer up princess.

Oh my bad, in my experience when people cant express a point without foul langauge, i generally take that to mean they are upset and think using foul language is a good way to get their point across because they have no other intellectual means to do so. Sorry for assuming the same with you, im sure you are the exception.
