Of course it matters who the coach is. You can grow up a Vol fan and recognize that some coaches will be better for your development than others. Or maybe he just wants to win.

Exactly. The desired schools will fill up, but UT will have room for a 5 star right up until signing day this year. Cade wants to be at UT if possible, but he also wants to put himself in the best position to succeed. I won't be shocked if he still ends up here if good moves are made, OR if Butch does what I think is now impossible and wins out, minus Bama.

No. He wants to play for Tennessee. The wrong coach or an unstable situation could change that. Hire a good coach, right the ship, Mays signs with us.

The question is.. is his dad Kevin a big Butch supporter being an ex vol I'm sure he's not happy with coaching now so I dunno if this holds true or not..

After the debacle on Black Saturday, I don't believe any recruit wants to play on a LBJ coached team.

The end of the LBJ experiment is here. There is absolutely no way in he!! He can be retained.

In years 4 and 5 a LBJ coached football team has been humiliated at Neyland stadium by a conference rival which is unacceptable.

The man is finished. I said before the season LBJ had to win the East in year 5 to be retained and unless a miracle occurs he may not win 6 games this year much less sniff an East title.

How do you know that the commits are saying they want to look around to open up the eyes of those responsible at UT in hopes that we'll fire Butch and get someone else?

Well, personally, I kind of like having a dead, Texican ex-President as our football coach. I mean, what other team can say that?

I would wait to hear something from Hubbs before believing that Mays is going to de-commit. Hubbs has already retracted the statement that Cade Mays took a visit to Clemson.
