Cal vs Colorado St

Fulmer has a 77% winning percentage, 2 SEC titles, and a MNC. All Stoopes does is choke in bowl games and conference championship games.

Stoops has an 82% winning percentage, 4 Big 12 titles, and a MNC. He has a 3-5 bowl record (compared to 7-7 for Fulmer ) and a 4-1 Big 12 CG record (compared to 2-2 for Fulmer). Not close.

Wow, how pathetic has it become when the Cal/Colorado State game isn't even over yet and is ongoing and a TENNESSEE message board had 6 pages dedicated to it.

Is it just another reason to knock your team and how terrible they are? If that's all you care to do then perhaps you should find yourself a more appealing hobby or perhaps go by a Southern Cal jersey.

It's one thing to be chapped about your team not being as good as you'd want them to be and voice your opinion, but it's another to whine about it 7 days later while watching the team that beat them play someone else.

That's sad.

what sucks about watching this Cal game are the incessant references to Cal's "dismantling," "manhandling," torching," etc. of Tennessee's defense last week. Every other comment has something to do with Cal against Tennessee last week. :shakehead: Man, I'm so ready for us to start turning things around tonight. Go Vols!

Ok, I'll take the gun away from your head. You don't have to watch the game or read this thread anymore...

Why do people feel compelled to tell everyone what they should or shouldn't be interested in? Personally, I'm interested in the game because I want to know if Cal is as good as they looked last week. If that doesn't interest you, find another thread.

are you watching the game, GA?

how many touches has jacksonv had....today it looks like CS's corners have done very well against him. Cal looks sluggish....man, they played so above their potential last week....oh, yeah, we suck'd 2.

The same reason the same people feel the need to ruin every "positive" thread someone makes by bashing them for being upbeat and optimistic? haha

Okla spoke too soon.

I believe Cal's defense needs more focus. Against us and CSU, they get ahead and let the opposition back into it.

Over now 34-28.

CSU played Cal tighter then UT did.
Not a good sign IMO, though maybe Cal's defense let up the last 5 minutes and let them back in the game.

CSU hit a 67 yard TD pass, then their next possession started on the Cal 49. Scored again in 4 plays/51 seconds. They must've recovered an onside kick after the first score, the box score I'm looking at doesn't specify whether they did or not.

God, what a crapfest. We were off the whole game. I was blogging the whole game and just felt the team wasn't playing on all cylinders. Rushing game was off early, defense as a whole played well for about 17 minutes (linebackers were good though), Longshore was overthrowing Desean through the 3rd quarter, and those last two TDs by CSU nearly gave me a heart attack. But a win's a win. Three big turnovers by the Rams made the difference.

To be fair, I think the hype of last week's game took the wind out of our sails. Playing a big game that early in the season just really left us gassed and underwhelmed. I think it was the same for you last year, when you won handily and then then nearly laid an egg against Air Force. But hopefully we learn from this one.
