Battery charge against Caleb Brantley dismissed
We are easy and quick to report on the negative. Yet when the truth comes out and justice is served, crickets...
Well, what truth came out? All we know from the charges being dropped is that there wasn't enough evidence to pursue conviction in court, meaning it was more of a "he said, she said".
It doesn't mean he unequivocally didn't do it. It just means the court system isn't going to waste taxpayer money on a case they don't think they can win due to a lack of evidence.
And of course, it could also mean he's innocent. Either way, dropping the charges doesn't "prove" anything necessarily.
