Here ya go champ! Go educate your dumb ass for once before talking! 65k miles on average!

Electric Car Battery Life: Everything You Need to Know
"Every battery in an electric car sold in the U.S. comes with a warranty that lasts for a minimum of eight years or up to 100,000 miles, says CarFax. For example, Kia offers a battery pack warranty for 10 years or 100,000 miles, while Hyundai provides a lifetime coverage of its electric cars' batteries."

Yea you have about a decade to not worry about the battery. Just like said. The buyer of a new car won't have to worry about the battery. And by then the cost will be much lower way in 2035.

A nothing burger to cry about from conservative snowflakes.

😂

Now scroll on down to the next couple of paragraphs with all the caveats. Go read up how many batteries are replaced under warranty.

Now let’s talk about mainstream car owners and the impacts of fast charging a LiION battery’s life.

And how is broke ass Cali gonna pay for it.

Now let’s talk about the infrastructure outside of the home to charge them as well as the 220V stations that will need to be added in home.

🤣🤣🤣🤣

So we should be worried about a part under warranty for anywhere from 8 years to lifetime?

lmao.

How long do you keep a car?
We keep a car around 10-15 years. But it doesn’t matter we don’t live in Cali.

So what happens when all those Cali electric car owners wanna drive for a vacation somewhere?

😂

Just the latest lunacy from the land of fruits and nuts.
It’s absolutely batshit crazy. It will get repealed because they won’t have the infrastructure and their residents cars will be next to useless on long drives.

Only hope is if hybrids get an extreme pass and count as zero emissions. But then you’ve just got a ****** performing gasoline powered car 🤷‍♂️ Stoopid

A state with the worst managed power grid in the country is going to go forward with a plan that requires them to have the best power grid in the country in 15 years.

Bold strategy. Let's see if it pays off.

Until the wheels fall off of it or the AC stops working. Whichever comes first.
I’ve gotten pretty good at AC work and wheel hub repairs. My 2012 F-250 still has the factory extended warranty on it till 2025. I doubt I ever sell this truck I love it. Once the seats finally give out I’ll buy new skins and keep on going. 😎

I spend only a few days a month at home so when I am home I dont feel too inclined towards doing any car work that isn't totally necessary. 90% of my drive time is spent in rentals anyway.

Cars are the worst possible investment. I prefer to spend my disposable income on recreation boom sticks and such.

I’m wondering how Cali residents are going to react to seeing automobile crashes on the news which pierce the battery casing and the whole car rapidly goes up in flames?

That will mandate more structure/encasement around the battery compartment... which will add weight and cost ... which will decrease range... which will call for larger batteries... which will add weight and cost... rinse repeat death spiral 😂

Oh wow. That’s another point. The rental car market. I’m gonna guess the Cali rental car market will stay gas... too funny
