lol. I'd be fine with T Jones but he wants to scream everytime he dunks it, wants to stare people down everytime he has a chance, and has these STUPID facial expressions most of the time. Guy probably won a few state titles and hasn't lost many in college...will more than likely be making big money in the NBA so grow the F up and act like you've been there before kid...geez.
This is true. I just need to take a few deep breaths and have faith they could win.......this may be difficult haha
Anybody see pics of the future renovations to Rupp? Outside is going to look awesome
Calipari suggested it will be important the officials stay on top of the action:
"Let's make sure it's about basketball,'' he said. "Let's make sure it's about execution, making shots and playing ball. And we don't get into a mud-wrestling match with everybody. We want to play basketball.''
IMO he knows if this is a physical game that that is tennessees best chance. I'm sure he's also trying to make sure his players are protected after the way LSU went after Anthony Davis.
I don't understand this. Why would he already be working the refs. It is almost like he is concerned about losing this game. I love the Vols, but I think this is a serious beat down.
IMO he knows that this is the only chance UT has is if the refs let us play tough physical D and push them around. He wants to make sure this is not going to happen and that it's called very tightly. JMO
I actually disagree with you on that statement. I think a closely whistled game benefits UT more. UK is good but depth is an issue. Foul trouble could very well cause huge problems for UK. What Cal is trying to achieve with the refs pertains to the inordinate amount of contact Davis has received in the head area. If you slow motion the Georgia or LSU games of last week you will see numerous times Davis was struck in the face or raked across the eyes. Way too much to be inadverdant contact. Trying to prevent the old "Hack-a-Shaq" thing of old. JMO
This is true but Tennessee doesn't have that talented of depth either. I don't want a lineup of washpun, mcbee, McRae, Woolridge and hall out there. Also, Davis is nowhere near hack a shaq status he shoots around 70% from the line you'd be idiotic to try and hack him and get yourself into foul trouble.

Let me try again - I did a poor job of explaining my point. My reference to the hack-a-shaq was from the standpoint of a pre-planned strategy. No. Davis shoots FTs well so you don't want him on the line. But the whacks to the mouth and eye raking crap has not been called of late. And again - respectfully just an opinion.
