Innocent people get sued all the time. He still runs the risk of financial ruin and the loss of many years of his life defending his name. The truth doesn't ensure that a lawsuit isn't filed, which would require him to pay for expensive lawyers with no guarantee of success. There's still also a chance that the "source" is wrong. Anyway, Sheridan was an idiot and got caught up in the moment at Media Days and said something he shouldn't have said and created a situation from which he couldn't back away.

It's pretty likely that Danny told Finebaum what he knows. Finebaum insinuated just a few minutes ago that he (Finebaum) knows who the bagman is and stated that if Danny came out and said who it was then the state of Alabama would be turned upside down.

So, I guess that means it actually would've turned Alabama right side up. :crazy:

Please put an end to this. Go read the comments by the auburn idiots under Clay Travis's response article. It's amazing, they are still under the delusion that "they didn't need to pay Cam"

This time the NCAA did the right thing. They asked him to put up or shut up. Otherwise we would have had a year long Tommy Gallion drama show part two. It looks like Sheriden let his mouth over load what ever. Just like Tommy Gallion.

I do not think Auburn is no where near clean here. But Alabama is the pot calling the kettle black. After all, Bama is the most penalized program in the NCAA and every time they think they can distract from that they will.

Alabama is not the most penalized program in the SEC, let alone the NCAA.

In the past 20 yrs they were right behind Tex tech for penalties. There is no more crooked state in the us that's for sure.
