Not sure why CBJ would publicly say this at the Knoxville QB Club meeting. If anything, it could change a current or future recruits' mind about coming to Tennessee. Why not keep it internal and let the authorities investigate?

We all know how calculated CBJ is when it comes to recruiting, this leaves me scratching my head.

This is exactly right in the end it is a game and if anyone gets so upset that they feel they should threaten a 18 year old kid after a loss they should probably consider not watching football because guess what 50% of the teams that play on Saturday lose.

I didn't hear his press conference, but did someone else ask him about it, and maybe that's why he said it?

He said something to the effect of I'm just glad I diid'nt have to wear a bullet proof vest..that got a laugh... then he went in and told of the threat.................... Just one thought if he keeps it quiet then someone does get attacked and investigation uncovers he kept it quiet as not to hurt recruiting.... all h3ll would break loose.
