ESPN is reporting that former UT commit, Camion Patrick, now at Indiana University, had been arrested in connection to a fatal stabbing in Louisville, TN. He was arrested in Indiana. His brother, Isiaha Wright, with two others was also arrested for the same incident.

Camion was one heck of a high school football player.

Unfortunately, he seemed to struggle a bit between the ears.


Sorry to hear that news. Hope he wasn't involved.

Anyone know a back story on this? Did the victim and assailants all know each other? Random? Drug related?

That's exactly what i was thinking. Every word and phrase gets politically softened these days. Reminds me of George Carlin's famous bit on euphemisms. Unfortunately, he hadnt even seen the worst of it.

You don't call it murder with no details, backstory, etc. It's a stabbing with a fatality until the facts are known.

been a big supporter and poster of cam since i played ball with him in school. absolutely shocked. i've met many mean cold hearted people that i could see killing people, camion was no where near that list. never really even saw him get angry. supposedly this murder happened the day after he got the medical hardship. sounds like hanging with the wrong group trying to get some weed, and it became a drug deal turned robbery. that's what i've seen on social media so it could turn out being something different.

regardless rest in peace to the victim and so sad for his family and child. 18 is way to young. hope cam wasn't part of it. sad story all around.

Watching Isaiah Wright on Last Chance U I saw a good kid with a good heart. Don't believe for one second that he killed anyone.

Good kids with good hearts make mistakes unfortunately. A moment of stupidity can ruin a life. I really hope Wright didn't do it, because I was really wishing him the best after seeing him on the show.
