Based on the potential returning O-Line and Backs that are returning....I don't anticipate Him running much at all. With him scrambling and quick, he can make a defense stay humble. I really do feel like we can be quick snapping the ball again. I feel like he will be a ble to throw perfectly on the run to someone. What else can he do?
Hope Nico is the is the second coming of Hendon Hooker or maybe even better !!! Cannot wait because the competition is now more tuff than ever !!!With him scrambling and quick, he can make a defense stay humble. I really do feel like we can be quick snapping the ball again. Nico is freak athlete and he is going to be special. There is a reason Nick embarrassed himself to try to get him to sign with Alabama, I have never heard of him doing that with any other player. With him scrambling and quick, he can make a defense stay humble. What did he do? I honestly haven't heard that story.Nico is freak athlete and he is going to be special. There is a reason Nick embarrassed himself to try to get him to sign with Alabama, I have never heard of him doing that with any other player.
The night before ESD Nick went to visit Nico at his home. Nico wouldn't see him and left him standing outside his hat in hand. He became one of my Mt. Rushmore Vols before taking a snap at UT.What did he do? I honestly haven't heard that story.
With regard to the OP; i do expect Nico to flourish next year with his ability and willingness to scramble, when/if things break down. There likely will be some mistakes that will result in sacks and interceptions, but overall i see the offense performing at a high level. Assuming the WRs we hope come back do and the Oline returning, i cant think of a reason the Offense doesnt score a lot of points.
That's exactly what I was thinking. To me, the really only couple of things we have to wait and see on is does his competitive spirit, and presence in the pocket line up the same as Hooker. Those are two intangibles outside of arm talent and running ability which ultimately separate the good from the great.Hope Nico is the is the second coming of Hendon Hooker or maybe even better !!! I think its E-uh-molly-ahhv-uh.I think Nico will be great after some real game experience. I still cannot say his last name, it comes out E-mommy-lava.
OMG that excites and scares me.I know a lot don’t like him on here but I like to listen to Dave Hooker. He still has friends who are tied to the program. He has been saying for quite awhile that Nico is as advertised and possibly better. So if he if what we think he is, along with a veteran OL, a loaded RB and WR corp a potential really good TE, then I think he could have a great year.
Hubbs feels similarly. Was listening to a podcast recently when a caller asked them to grade the positions. When they got to QB Hubbs basically said it’d be nice to have some experience returning but based on what he’s seen at practice he wouldn’t trade Nico for anyone. Then asked Austin and the other guys who would they rather have and they all agreed that Nico is the real deal.I know a lot don’t like him on here but I like to listen to Dave Hooker. That being said, to answer the OP I do not expect a “great” season because we don’t have any proven receivers. There’s tons of potential, but little evidence.Hubbs feels similarly. I like you, so no offence, but Dave Hooker is ignorant of football, so is his partner.I know a lot don’t like him on here but I like to listen to Dave Hooker.
