I feel like playing at home, that our defense can get to him. I also feel like we can put a lot of pressure on him, before he gets rid of it.

Other key: stop the run, and don’t let them get big chunks of yards.
If we can do that, we can win this game.
We have to tackleBrock and get him down. We can’t let him break tackles.

Problem is that blitzing the QB opens you to chunk runs. Run fitting allows Beck to scan the field to find Brock. Got to pick your poison and hope for the best. UGA does that to other teams in that they make them one dimensional. I expect Kirby will play heavy in the box and make Milton beat him with his arm.

I’m sure that will be the case of playing 7 or 8 in the box. If they do, then my question is, do we throw it out on the edge? I mean toward the sidelines, trying to pick up yardage that way? It has worked some, but I don’t know?

Get to Beck, stop the run, control Bowers. Anything else? Not trying to be a smart arse, but that's a tall order. Gonna be hard enough for our defense to accomplish one of those things much less all 3.

It’s possible but that’s the exact throw that Ole Miss tried that got picked last week by UGA #22. Face it. This is the toughest defense UT will see all year.

We have to get to Beck. I don’t think we have a choice. It’s going to be hard, Ole Miss got to Beck some. Mizzou got to Beck a couple of times. We have to tackle, that’s going to be a key. Tackling better than we did against Mizzou at home.

Bruh….Ole miss never touched Beck. Literally 0 sacks, pressures, hits. Nothing. Not a finger.

We have to find some way to get yards down the field. I don’t know how to do that, but we have to open up the rushing of the football. I figured throwing it to the sidelines and picking up 4 or 5 yards a lick to get down the field. If we don’t, then it’ll be a disaster.

Hard to imagine that stat against any opponent, but to do it against an SEC foe is incredible. Granted it's Ole Miss and they don't do defense, but that's still an amazing stat. Then again Larry posted their recruiting class rankings since Kirby took over so it's clear that they're up to their eyeballs in 5 star talent.

If we hadn't experienced so many injuries, I'd say it's time to stop protecting Milton and run your full package. Sink or swim being exactly who you are, but with all these injuries, we're playing youngsters who likely don't have the experience to make the reads Heupel's offense requires of WRs. Still, at this point in the season, coaching scared is silly. Take your shots and be who you are. No one expects us to win this game. Nothing to lose. Might get lucky and hit a few big ones. At least you go down swinging.

That’s right. I was thinking that they sacked Beck, but that was Mizzou I think that got to him a couple of times. I don’t know if we can, but I still feel that it is a must.
