If GA shuts down our running game then whatever small chance we have is toast. Milton cannot beat them passing. And I'm sure Kirby knows that and will scheme their D for exactly that.

That is the question. Seems like our best bet is to blitz as much as possible and just live with the fact that Bowers is going to get the ball. Hopefully our linebackers don't whiff as much this week. Bring the kitchen sink at them, force Beck into a couple mistakes and maybe we're in it!

Gotta stop/slow their run game, and get to the QB. Bowers will do what Bowers does, unfortunately, unless Martinez has introduced this new-fangled "WRAP-UP TACKLING" technique the last few days. We CANNOT afford even one turnover. I'm afraid we'll be stuck with depending on Milton's arm...will it be vs. Clemson or vs. Mizzou Milton's arm?

I think that we can stop the run.
I think we can put a lot of pressure on Beck.
I don’t know about turnovers, but the 1st two keys are important.
I think we get at least 150 yards rushing this time.
Milton has to avoid turnovers, run for his life to pick up yardage when he has no one open, or under pressure.
Protect the blindside, and make sure he doesn’t get sacked.
Roll him out and run, run, and run. If he can do it?

Defensive Line has been flat after a hot start and bump in the level of competition this season.

If they can't get pressure with the front four, I'm not sure I remotely trust the back 7 to not let McConkey and Bowers run wild.

Think this and the O line getting running lanes for the runners are key to the game along with turnovers.

We can keep it close for a half. They’ve got too many 1’s and 2’s. We’ll be toast in the second half.

Apparently they are not taught correctly, by our all world, best in the country, deserving of a raise, DC, but obviously that can’t be the case,because a bunch of liberal bookworms at USA Today tell us how great he is

Milton cannot be indecisive in the running game or the passing game. Whenever the run is there he needs to take it, but he can’t afford to hesitate. I have noticed sometime we have pretty good protection and he will either hesitate on the pass or run. He then waits that extra second and then he can’t escape. Make the quick decisions that you positive yards, that keeps us going forward and getting into a rythmn. Joe is going to have to do some running this game to open up everything else. Our O line and D line has to play it’s very best. We have to block and tackle well and we cannot turn the ball over. GBO

This game won’t have much to do with our offense. UGA will destroy our defense. Milton could play like Cam Newton and we will still lose.

You have to tackle these guys, hasn't been something Tennessee has done well against the better teams. It may be just that they're better players. Execution or whatever a lot of times comes down to one on one and the better player wins the matchup.

This is a poor tackling team especially in the secondary, Bowers and McConkey will eat our lunch downfield Saturday.

Georgia has only had to play 2 true road games this season, one of which was Vandy. In both games Carson Beck only had 1 TD and 1 INT. Not exactly the most frightening statline as an opposing fan. Maybe there is some validity in being able to slow down Georgia. Bring the pressure and get to Beck early before he is able to get in rythm.
