I was at the game and a great atmosphere I thought tonight. I just have one question though.... Why does Martin take timeouts after big made shots during the game? I believe we were down maybe 53-48 or so and Richardson hit the corner three.... Crowd going nuts and we give Florida a free timeout. Never got that momentum back either. I just don't understand it

Well whatever he discussed damn sure didn't work. I noticed that too. He's did it before and it didn't work out so well then either. Rather Dooley like, don't you think.. He's doesn't belong here. Job is too big for him. He has a weak staff around him and he's not good enough a coach himself to get his players to do the right thing..

Just doesn't make sense on any level to me. I think we came out in a 1-3-1 after it which confused Florida for a few possessions but we lost the momentum we had and literally never regained it. Just dumb imo

Martin and Dooley have no idea how to use a timeout or how to make good calls coming out of one.

Florida just had better guard play, defense and determination tonight. Do have to agree that timeout after Josh's 3 was odd. If it was to set up the defense isn't this team experienced enough to where the coach can call that from the sideline?

He does it all the time

Florida's guard play, toughness and defense was just too much to overcome. UT's guard play this season has been dismal. If McRae isn't hot there is no offensive production from the guards.

Wait until next season when we only win maybe 12 games all season. He has never had this team to lose. But he has lost any remote attempt to get them to follow him. He isn't a leader and he can't inspire anyone to step up on the court and be a leader. I think his players see his second guessing and they don't trust themselves to do the right thing.

He calls a timeout to stop our momentum. But let the other team go on a run and he just sits there and does nothing. I think he has it backward

He's terrible at strategy so the time out backfired big time as we did nothing the rest of the game

What makes this even more puzzling is the man played the game at the highest level. As a player could you imagine the feeling when he does this?

-----------

Please, let's not. There are way too many questions in this world than man simply doesn't have the aptitude to answer. Let's not add another to the discussion.

I heard Hyams or one of those people saying they ask him and he said 'because the team is more focused after a big play and he feels that he can get their attention better at that point'. Like someone said didn't work for sh!$.
