Just the western provinces? About 80-90% of the population live 100 miles from the US border. That is a lot of land, yet with not a lot of people.

It would be a complicated divorce.

And who is to say them joining the US would make their situation any better?

From another source: There is already a legal limit — five rounds — on the maximum size of a magazine. Today's ban does not cover handguns, the weapon of choice for gang members. Blair promised Friday to enact legislation down the line to give municipalities the power to ban these firearms.

The same leftist commies here in the states are following the same playbook. They won't be satisfied until ALL firearms are banned except for the elite and government.

Canada just ensured that the next mass shooting they have will only have good weapons in the hands of criminals. Funny how they do not care which weapons are legal...

Let's see how many Canucks turn in their rifles. Last I saw, in NZ they said something like 2 million mean, scary, black assault rifles were in the hands of law abiding citizens and MUST be turned in. After 6 months there were less than 20 turned in. In the country. Less than 20. This will get interesting soon I bet.

The article I read said Canada’s criminals get between 70% to 90% of their guns from the US so mass shootings won’t stop. The proggies will all feel better patting each other on the back for a while until it happens again and again and again.
