You realize their minister of justice admitted to freezing their accounts openly on national tv and said he’d do so to (I’m going off memory here) “any pro-trump movement”?

I don't believe University Ave. was shut down for 23 days. I didn't see that in the article anywhere. Atlanta had over 425 arrests. I hope anyone who damaged anything was arrested and prosecuted to the fullest. When they blocked the interstate, they were quickly cleared.

Rebel News, which has been doing outstanding work, spoke with owner Enrique to find out what the beef was with the authority figures outside. Enrique saw a peaceful protestor being mistreated by someone who was just following Trudeau's orders. That authority figure then tried to gain access to the café and wanted Enrique to come outside. Enrique refused, assuming he would then be mistreated and/or arrested.

It should wake everyone up to the fact that "back the blue" is really about supporting police when they're cracking the skulls of the people you don't agree with. It's astonished me on these Twitter posts how many Canadians are cheering the cops on. If this was BLM or indigenous people being run over with horses and harangued on public streets for daring to use the sidewalk they'd be rioting. But thankfully it's people they think are idiots, so suddenly cops are the heroes we always knew they were and bucking the establishment is what fascists do. If you watch the videos they're being the same old assholes they were to other protesters. The hammer hasn't changed, it's just hitting a nail I don't like.

Specifically the reporter asked about someone who gave $100 dollars. The minister of justice compared them terrorists in his defense of freezing their account, never answered the reporters question about what recourse the people would have and then ends with this:

Reporter-"A lot of folks just don't like your vaccine mandates. Should they be afraid the government can freeze their accounts.

Lametti-"If you're a member of a pro-trump movement who donated hundreds of thousands or millions of dollars, you should be worried".

Reporter-"what if you're a Canadian citizen who gave $500?"

Lametti doesn't answer the question and then starts talking about "if you're a tractor trailer owner whose employee has taken the truck you may lose your trucking license and I think you ought to be worried"

At no point does he say he will not go after people making small donations (specifically the $100 and $500 donations he was asked about) he never states what the recourse is, and compares it to financing terrorism.

The vast majority of cops are fine. They were during the BLM protests and they have been during the trucker protest.

Ok now I see why I don't waste a lot of time arguing with you. I just shared a video showing exactly what happened and you dismiss it because of rebel news? Rebel news for the most part has done an amazing job of simply sharing videos and coverage of the protest without a lot of comment and letting viewers see with their own eyes whats happening. You can form your own opinion by simply watching the coverage and seeing what is actually happening. It truly is sad that there are so many people just like you who can see things with their own eyes but are incapable of forming their own opinion if it's not aligned with mainstream (fake news) media.

The entire thing has been odd. Did you see that Prime Minister Blackface's first response to the trucker's was to openly condemn all the ism's?

It seems like the goals is to use the words "Trump", "Racism", "transphobia" etc as a bait and switch to then justify any actions you deem necessary in going after your opponent.

It's the old "of course you should be able to punch a nazi" and then label everyone a nazi tactic.
