Canada's Truck Convoy to Protest Mandate

They are claiming they are not freezing the accounts of anyone simply for donating.
You are wrong. They said:

“Second, the government is issuing an order, with immediate effect, under the Emergencies Act, authorizing Canadian financial institutions to temporarily cease providing financial services where the institution suspect an account is being used to further the illegal blockade and occupation,” she continued, adding that this order also insists that financial institutions audit both personal and corporate accounts and report any accounts linked to the protests to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) and Canadian intelligence agencies.

That includes donations.

The Canadian Civil Liberties Association is suing the gov't because:

“The emergency orders require financial institutions to turn over personal financial information to CSIS & the RCMP & to freeze the bank accounts of those who attended, or provided assistance to those participating in, a prohibited assembly — all without judicial oversight.”

Those sources seem give more than the gullible to think it likely.

Not a fan of trials huh?
I'm a big fan, but some cases are a little more open and shut.
LEO to trucker over a 3 week period: "You need to move your truck, it's a crime to block traffic."-------open
Trucker: "So, I'm not moving it; you'll have to just arrest me."---------shut

Doing some leg work. Good points, but you should have provided links.

How am I carrying his water? You may have missed it during your much appreciated absence, but I said from the beginning he should have lifted the mandates. I said he was stupid and wrong for the comments he's made and the way he's handled the whole situation.
If that's what you call carrying water, you may wish to update your dictionary.

"Awe shux, good old Trudeau wouldn't do that. Anyone who thinks he would is just a gullible fool who'll never learn."

That's definitely a water pale compared to:

"Trump is a totalitarian Russian spy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

So you believe it is likely true.
I'm only using this tweet as an example of the continuous misinformation which the gullible consume as truth.
If one knows it happened once, and then twice, and then again and again; at some point one might become a little more discerning in their consumption.

For a guy that literally pulls numbers out of their ass you have no room to call out anything as “misinformation”.

What an asinine take. My comment was that anyone who believes the tweet (without additional confirmation) is a gullible fool. Especially considering the guy has refused to talk and gone into hiding. No one has provided anything that substantiates the truthfulness of his tweet.

You cried “Russian collusion” for over 4 years and anything that claimed otherwise a conspiracy theory. That worked out for ya.

Not asinine at all. It's actually dead on, considering the full court press you laid on the matter. In other words, anyone who would consider that likelihood is gullible and should give Trudeau the benefit of the doubt, but our President was a totalitarian wanna-be dictator, who was also a Russian asset.

You are carrying water for Trudeau, who STATED that he evoked Emergency Powers for the express powers of freezing and taking private citizen's assets. You read totalitarianism into everything Trump did, believed any report about him, and refused him any benefit of doubt.

How?
When the BLM protestors walked onto 1-75/85 temporarily shutting it down, they were told to move or be arrested. Any of you guys cry about LEO and government overreach? It seems most of the PF posters were screaming just the opposite.
"The police are doing nothing, they should just arrest them and lock them up!"
Things of that nature.
Do you see a difference in the truckers blocking roads and BLM protestors blocking the interstate?

This.

Not only is he toting water for Trudeau, he's running interference in a laughable attempt to shame anyone who thinks it likely Trudeau would...you know... use the powers he grasped for the purpose he said he wanted them.

Did they seize their property and money? No!

I had almost forgotten how consistently wrong you can be.
I never said considering the likelihood was gullible. I said not considering the likelihood that it wasn't true was gullible.

It's always those small yet critical details which cause you to stumble.

Nope because they left. In less than an hour. Had they laid there for three weeks, I hope their assets would be frozen.
But it would have never gone 3 weeks, or 3 days - they would have been forcibly loaded up and taken in.
Which would have been a better idea for Trudeau.
But remember - I said the best move from the beginning would have been to remove the mandates.

So you believe in punishment prior to conviction, how very NAZI of you.

I'd not forgotten how you retreat to intellectual dishonesty. The context was your full court pressing on "likely true" and argument demanding proof that morphed into a humorous attempt to my "likelihood" on record, which morphed into your "gullible" scree, all after having convicted Trump.

My point is dead on, no matter your deflections. You have argued that Trudeau gets the benefit of the doubt until proven otherwise. You convicted Trump of espionage. lol

After Trudeau asks for and received emergency powers to dissolve constitutional rights, you give stories about it a 10% likelihood. You disliked Trump, so gobbled up everything from piss showers to Russian mafia, and have the nerve to chide others about gullibility.

To simplify it beneath your attempted distinction-without-meaning: You were and are arguing for giving Trudeau the benefit of the doubt while refusing to give it to Trump.

How convenient.............

“Given the amount of hate directed at her following my tweet and the fact that other freedom convoy donors have been threatened, fired from their jobs or otherwise harassed by the media and/or opponents of the freedom convoy, I decided I would not do any media on this story or reveal any more details about Briane and her personal situation.”

23 days in Atlanta. University ave was shut down. No accounts frozen. Very few arrests, plenty of damage.

23 Days: Stories from the occupation of the Wendy's where Rayshard Brooks was killed

Yes, and then turn around and release them without charges like they did the vast majority of the BLM rioters.
Didn't they actually give swathes of communities to the left's peaceful protesters, as "autonomous zones"? Didn't see them freezing assets, grabbing their vehicles, forms of livelihood, or cancelling their means of livelihood?
