Clark, you do realize that 90% of the truckers there are out of a job because of this mandate right now don’t you? Truckers are undoubtedly mostly conservatives if I had to guess. Not only that but they also work alone or with ONE partner. This was just an attempt to target conservatives. There is no need for them to take the jab if they feel it’s unnecessary as they don’t work in a “populated” line of work.

No, I'm perfectly aware that things are going to be shutdown and people's livlihoods placed in peril. Not any different than what the government did with these lockdowns and mandates.

How do you know that the downtown Ottawa businesses are hurting? All those protestors and curiosity seekers got eat and shop somewhere. I'm sure they not going to the suburbs to shop at Walmart.

Which ones? I mean most were already shut down. If you shopped in Costco in Canada they had clothing and whatever they deemed “nonessential” goods blocked off. Don’t even mention restaurants. Hell they had even shutdown outdoor activities like boating and golf.

Ive never felt the need to exercise it, but I'm a believer in civil disobedience. My protest shouldn't F innocent people. I don't have any desire to issue beat downs in the parking lot at Bass Pro.

Stop working and allow others that are willing to do the job do it. If other truckers agree, it may affect others, but they aren't actively stopping the business activities of third parties. A blockade prevents resupply by others that are willing to do so.
