Canceled/Ending Shows announced!

The opening viewer numbers is ultimately what determines a show's axing. Of Kings And Prophets pilot was only viewed by 3.3 million viewers. Those are abysmal numbers for a network like ABC. Several more of their veteran and new shows are likely questionable renewals at this point. Nashville, Agent Carter, Quantico, Once Upon A Time, Agents of Shield are all waning in numbers.

Personally I think Agents of SHIELD and Agent Carter need to move to Netflix like the other Marvel shows. Not only do the Netflix Marvel shows get away with more obviously, but quality wise they are just so much better than the 2 ABC shows.

I don't know how Once Upon a Time is even still on.

Quantico, Once Upon A Time and Agents of Shield were announced a couple of weeks ago that they would return next season!

I must have missed that, thanks. That basically means their chances for being cancelled next year are now doubled.

It's been off the air so long I thought it had already been cancelled. I hate when shows take such a long obscure hiatus. Case in point Blacklist. Love the show but the inconsistent breaks in between can't be good.

I'm more ticked at CBS for messing up POI by moving it. It was doing fine in it's original timeslot but once they moved it, the ratings starting sliding down then they changed it by bringing in Shaw and all the story crap.

Well Bye! The only one I ever got into was the Miami show and that was only after it went into syndication.

CBS - CSI: Cyber has been Canceled after 2 Seasons To End the ‘CSI’ Franchise

This is the end of a billion-dollar franchise. CBS has canceled CSI: Cyber, the last spinoff from the forensic procedural drama that took television by storm 16 years ago.

CSI: Cyber was the fourth CSI series and the first to tackle different area than forensics, focusing on cyber crime. The mothership series ran for 15 seasons, CSI: Miami for 10, and CSI: NY for nine.

I only watched 1 episode of CSI Cyber and thought it was terrible; but then again I was never impressed with any of the CSI shows.

I honestly don't get how this and the NCIS shows have run so long and continue to get spinoffs. They are all so cookie cutter.

I have been a huge fan of the NCIS franchises ever since the original spun-off of JAG. I find them to be very well done shows with fantastic casts.

welp... sad news for the local folks who worked on the show!

Nashville has been canceled after 4 years by ABC

Sad news for Nashville fans — ABC has canceled the country music drama after four seasons.

There had been positive signs for a Season 5 renewal for Nashville, co-produced by Lionsgate TV and ABC Studios. Lionsgate TV stepped in to hire veteran producers Marshall Herskovitz and Ed Zwick as new showrunners. The Emmy-winning duo already was working with writers on breaking stories for next season.

Still, with Castle also on the bubble, coming off a highly rated episode on Monday, it was always a hard decision. And one of Nashville‘s strongest supporters at ABC, former programming topper Paul Lee, is gone.

While not a strong ratings performer, the music drama created by Callie Khouri has solid DVR bumps. Nashville, starring Connie Britton and Hayden Panettiere, also is a brand for ABC, with Nashville-themed TV music specials, soundtracks and tours. Just yesterday, ABC announced a high-profile VR digital extension for the show to go with the last three episodes of the season. Now they will be the music drama’s final installments, with the May 25 closer serving as series finale.

On CSI Cyber:
I knew it was struggling and I found it very suspect that their final episode was written like a series finale.

Sadly with Michael Weatherly leaving NCIS this season I'm fairly sure this will mark the beginning of the end for NCIS. It's of my own personal opinion that the show won't survive without Dinozzo. It clearly took a a giant hit when Ziva left, and it's not going to survive Dinozzo leaving.

Nashville - You could see that cancellation coming by dwindling viewers.
Agent Carter - Cancellation was inevitable. I watched both seasons and honestly it went from decent, to bad, to worse. I can only speak for myself on this but if I fall asleep watching a tv show then it's completely slow and/or boring. I fell asleep more than once watching this show.

You might be right but they have dealt with characters leaving before. CBS when they gave it a early renewal a month or so ago they did it for both the 2016 & 2017 seasons.

I wasn't a big fan of Bishop at first but she grew on me.

It still bugs me that CBS & the franchise hasn't put together a storyline involving all two or now three shows. Something more than one character showing up Once a season or appearing via conference call.

I think NCIS will stay around until they decide to quit. The show gets the best ratings on network TV.

Agent Carter was a show that probably should have only lasted a few seasons. I honestly don't think there was enough material to stretch across multiple seasons. They are already going to do another SHIELD spinoff so this had to go. Honestly I don't even care for the main SHIELD show. After the Netflix MCU series, these seem really cheesy and lame, and I think SHIELD should move to Netflix as well, plus even Agent Carter would probably work better.
