Canceled/Ending Shows announced!

Happy Endings was great until every episode was about Max being gay and single.

I thought the first season or two was great, after that the quality dropped like a rock and somehow it got stupid instead of funny. It's like they started trying too hard to be funny. I don't think I've ever even watched the last 3 or 4 episodes because I got so bored with it.

Totally agree. The first season was hilarious, the second season was good but started to trail off, and after that it got bad.

It was up my list of sitcoms when it was at its best though.

Agreed. But even at it's worst, Happy Endings was funnier than 95% of recent sitcoms.

It's pretty sad when the best show on network TV had the worst ratings of any show that didn't get cancelled last cycle. Hopefully another outlet picks it up.

I'm shocked NBC gave it three seasons.

Hannibal belongs on a streaming service. I know Amazon has the rights, so I hope they pick it up. It is a really amazing show.

I've watched every episode, but sometimes the symbolism and fantasy gets a little clunky. The actor portraying Hannibal has nailed it but also taken the character a little outside of what most fans of Silence of the Lambs envisioned. It seems he likes to "eat" more. Always thought the Hopkins version mainly consumed normal fare but splurged on threats to himself. Don't recall this one ever dining on anything he didn't bring from "the refrigerator". :ermm:

It's a complete new take on the entire series. While all of this is supposed to be a prequel to Red Dragon, they've incorporated plot points from all four books/films.

I appreciate the fact that Fuller has made such a concerted effort to make the story and characters new despite them being so recognizable. I never thought I could appreciate anyone other than Anthony Hopkins playing Lecter, but Mikkelsen has gone in such a different direction that it's like watching a totally different character, albeit one who also likes to eat people.

Under the Dome is cancelled after this season.

Also, the Coach continuation on NBC has been scrapped after they filmed the pilot.

I find it funny that the reason they aren't going forward with the new Coach show is because after they filmed the pilot, they said it felt "dated".

No kidding; you couldn't figure that out before you filmed an episode?
