Candace Parker on CKC

I may get pummeled for this and to some degree this observation may be unfair.

I have observed in all three of CPS, CHW and CKH a common trait, with only Pat being able to overcome the trait. That observation being all three had a perpetual frown.

I have always respected and honored Pat, was somewhat ambivalent toward Hollie and anxiously waited for Kellie to get the ship turned.

I never got perma-frown from any of them. Perhaps their thinking faces are being confused with "RBF".
Fair enough. I noticed it mostly on Kellie during interviews immediately after she finished answering a question. Thank you for a thoughtful response.

I’ve donned my flak jacket and Kevlar helmet 🪖

No one is perfect, but doubting Danny White puts a person in a perilous position. He knows his stuff.

As a heterosexual male I will say Caldwell being attractive along with her persona and the style of play she’s delivered has me interested in LV hoops for the first time in years. If that’s offensive then so be it.

That no. 1 class wasn’t successful now was it
Well, that is kind of why she got fired. Other than incessant negativity, what is your point? Candace did not endorse Holly in this way, right? Unfortunately, this thread has gotten a bit sidetrack by the detour into personal appearances,.

Those turns seldom end well.

Emphasis on "she got". Pat had Mickie DeMoss, among others, who had reps as excellent recruiters. Head coaches are like CEOs. Their ability to get the right people in the right places is a key factor to their success.
It's called recruiting. To be a successful CEO you must "recruit/hire" people to do the job you intend. As a head coach, you have to recruit both players and assts.

What is the male version of this condition called? I'm asking, for a friend of course.

In the NIL era it's more about the money than the people.

You know more about this than me but my impression is that people still make a difference. If two schools offer equivalent packages, what else would be tie breaker but the coaching staff and team vibe.

Also, I would like to think that recruits are not just complete mercenaries. So, they might take less (so long it the amount is above a necessary threshold) to play for a coach they are excited about.

Do you think it is just about the $?
