butt ugly! In fact, if you want an all ugly team, I think UConn has it, Stewart, Farris, Diana, Lobo (she of the Shirley Temple curls) and that chubby 3 point girl with all the names.

Evidently, some believe a surefire way to show prospective recruits that Lady Vol fans offer a good, decent, supportive place to play for, is to disparage fellow female basketball players as 'ugly.' Shameful.

Kid can't help her looks any more than she can her athletic abilities. But she can control her actions, and from everything I've seen and heard of her, she's a class act and uconn was fortunate to get her (same for any school she chose). If she had come here, everyone would be singing her praises and deservedly so...without a single mention of her looks.

The key word is "team". This thread was about Parker vs Stewart, not LA vs Seattle. It's not surprising that an 8 year WNBA veteran all-star would outplay a rookie in the rookie's first game as a pro on the road.

If we were to use a team's record to assess a player then we would have to look at the zero championships Parker has brought to LA. That doesn't change Parker's status as a great player but neither should it be used to judge Stewart in her first season.

They were 3-15 last year without her. I'm pretty sure it's all her. If you still blame her for not winning a championship, you have no basketball knowledge whatsoever.

My comment was in response to another poster using LA's 8-0 record as evidence that Parker is "killing" Stewart.

I believe that winning a title involves more than having the player(s) with the best stats.
