Candice Parker vs. Skylar Mcbee (merged)

McBee, a 6’3 male who can shoot the ball and played significant minutes on a team with Top 10-15 level talent as a Freshman would crush Parker, a 6’4 175 pound female who has limited range as a shooter and has dominated girls. In fact Dwight Tarwater, a Webb Sr. who’s a mid-low level college prospect could crush Parker one-on-one. The fact that you think this would be close is disturbing.

Can Skylar dunk? Just curious.

Seriously, it's like whoever passed that bill was like, "Well, we've got all this money. Let's throw it out the windows, it won't all fit in here."

I think whoever passed that bill was looking for some equal rights and equality for women. That's just sort of my take on it. I know it's a touchy thing.

1 on 1 is a completely different game. someone once told me that coach summit has a group of scout team guys they scrimmage against that plays at their level or higher.

Candance Parker, Maya Moore, and Chamequia Holdsclaw would all beat Skylar McBee.

Its stupid to assume these women are normal women...they are the few that can hang with men.

So what your saying is UCONN's Diana T could beat UT's Chris Lofton?

goooooooo sexism!

Sexism has nothing to do with it. I don't think anyone is going to deny that CP is one of the best women's players in the world. That doesn't mean she's going to beat D-1 men.

And I say this as a fan of the LVs.

I'm all about equal rights, but there is literally no point to women's sports.

Equality is one thing. Forcing schools to have programs which do nothing other than cost them money is stupid. It's not the schools fault that an average sports fan would rather watch poker than almost anything forced upon them by title 9.

o, was that who we were talking about? because A.) Diana T imo isn't quite on the same level as the 3 I mentioned.... and B.) nor is Chris Lofton on the level of Skylar McBee.

Crack smoking becoming more prevelant in TN? Because in my estimation Skylar McBee is on par with...well, hes a bench warmer....so ya, thats what hes on par with, the bench.

and it is sexism...don't kid urselves doods

Congratulations - please explain why the male managers (lacking the athleticism of most D1 men bball players) of the Lady Vols consistently school them in practice when Pat has them scrimmage them? Candace Parker is no exception when it comes to getting schooled by men in basketball.

Utk crew was an example. Men's soccer and wrestling was cut and they put up posters saying they had money available for girls to join the crew team
..
Women's sports is a joke

It cannot exist absent massive subsidy except for figure skating and tennis...

Despite the fact Summitt forbids them to jump at full force or block the ladies' shots.
