Lol at this dudes pathetic attempt at trolling ...Here are some coaches that I think White could potentially get whenever Barnes decides to hang it up:
Casey Alexander - Belmont
Chris Holtmann - Ohio St
Kermit Davis - Ole Miss
Tad Boyle - Colorado
Kevin Keatts - NC St
Porter Moser - Loyola Chicago
Buzz Williams - Texas A&M
Would you be happy with any of these coaches?
Posted this in another thread, but shaka’s lost in the first round of each of his last 5 tournament appearances to a 12, 10, 11, 7 and 14 seed. His teams have made it out of the second round 1 time.
Barnes isn't the "best ever" for sure. One thing he has proven is that he can take nothing and build it into something highly respectable. Don't forget UK threw everything at Barnes 15 years ago to be their coach and he turned them down. Texas wasn't matchingSounds like the last 12 years of Barnes. Except Shaka was in his 30s not 50s and 60s and at VCU not Texas for half of those year. And when Shaka left the second round it was to the final four. I find it hilarious that the Barnes is the best thing ever crowd rips on Smart all the time when his accomplishments are greater than Barnes over the last 12 years.
I find it hilarious that you pulled “Barnes is the best thing ever” out of your azz. Smacks of desperation. Not speaking for everyone, but just because we don’t want the man fired doesn’t mean idolization. Many of us have seen BAD...and recently.Sounds like the last 12 years of Barnes. Show me one quote like that and I’ll apologize.I see plenty of coach worship level defense of Barnes on here and I'm one who thinks he will be there at least 3 to 5 more years. Every one that is critical of Barnes doesn't want him fired. And yes, there have been posters the last few days who have said Barnes is the best coach we've ever had and that we have no right to even expect better than him.
